This was our second visit and we love this property. The views from the windows are amazing. The property is spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a problem with the heating but Andrew responded immediately and sorted it out straight away. Highly recommended.

I always enjoy my stay at Cheviot View. It’s in a great location with a beautiful view overlooking the Coquet Valley, surrounded by fields and woodland but only a15 minute walk in to the village. For most of the week the weather was freezing outside (it was early December) but the apartment was warm and cosy to come back to after braving the elements!

After an absence of three years it was lovely to be back at Bluebell Cottage. The cottage is comfortable, cosy and well equipped, the area quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Many thanks and full marks to Andrew for his fast response when the fridge broke down! It was replaced with a new one the following day. Look forward to returning.

A fantastic property with amazing views and a really helpful host. Hopefully we will be able to return next year.

Very comfy beds, well equipped including washer/dryer, freezer as well as fridge, and dishwasher. Very spacious rooms and entrance area. The view from the main bedroom, lounge and dining area are absolutely fabulous. In a very peaceful location but easy access to Rothbury with its big range of good food shops, places to eat and 'specialist' shops (for shoes, clothes, craft wools, antiques, outdoor walking gear and even a toyshop!) Beautiful places to explore along river valleys, into the hills, out to the coast and sites of historic interest (Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick and its Castle & gardens, Wallington Hall, Cragside, Belsay to name but a few). Our 2nd stay at Westcliffe House (stayed in River View last year) and definitely the kind of place to come to again and again!

Another wonderful stay in Coquet View in Westcliffe House. This was our 5 or 6 time and the apartment is always perfect. Apart from the space, cleanliness and high quality furnishings, the service Andrew provides is lovely. He responds to any questions quickly and always offers fresh towels, bed linen and a clean around between weeks (we generally stay 2-3 weeks at a time). We have stayed in many holiday lets in the village of Rothbury and, although all have been good, Coquet View is our favourite and offers the best value for money. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to couples and small family groups

Lovely 2nd stay in Rothbury. This stay we decided to rent the property at the front with wonderful views. Excellent property and a lovely stay, a bit of noise from the property above which sounded like they had brought a baby elephant along with them but luckily they checked out a couple of days later. Would like a third visit sometime as it's location is excellent but will try to book Bluebell cottage round the back as we preferred that property.

Enjoyable break in Rothbury to visit and do lots of thing, views from the property are superb. Really enjoyed the spaciousness of the property.

Another fabulous weeks stay at Cheviot View! The apartment was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. The views and local walks are wonderful and it was lovely to see the various breeds of new born lambs in the surrounding fields. Looking forward to being back very soon!

We stayed for one week with two friends. Excellent apartment with outstanding views. Rothbury is a lovely village and is central to access all places of interest along the coast and nearby. Our first time to Northumberland but certainly hope to return and would book the same apartment without any hesitation.
