The views from this villa are fantastic. The pool area is really big and kept the kids amused for hours. The villa is the perfect size for a family of 4 although you could fit double this round the pool. It is lovely and quiet. We managed without a car however we would recommend hiring one as it is secluded. 15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and around 20 minutes walk to the nearest beach. We walked the 30 minutes into Kassiopi a few times even with the kids but the majority of the walk is without pavements. It is possible to get taxi’s which we did but they need prior notice. Communication and check in were very easy and they even come and change the towels a couple of times in the week which we have never had before with any other villa rentals. Would definitely return! It was an amazing week.

The villa is good value for money. The view over the sea from the swimming pool is breathtaking. The swimming pool is really good and kept really clean. It does however have a short shallow end so you can get out of your depth quite easily so need to be careful with children. The villa is set up in the hills behind Kassiopi and it is semi detached with a local couple living in the other part. They are really nice and gave us fresh fruit and vegetables some mornings from their farmland. The bedrooms are both air conditioned and the upstairs bedroom has a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Great to eat lunch and get some shade. OK, now the downsides. The lounge and kitchen are dark and very tired looking so you would not want to spend much time inside. The one bathroom has a shower only, no bath which was not a problem to us. However, the shower tray is only about 30 inches square which means the moment you turn round the shower curtain moves with you and the bathroom gets soaked. This might seem a bit picky but when you are showering twice a day for 2 weeks, it gets on your nerves a bit. The cooking utensils and cutlery need updating and there are no BBQ tools. Again maybe a bit picky but whats the point of cooking a great steak on the BBQ only to find the cutlery falls apart when you use it and no it wasnt my cooking skills at fault!! Kostas informed us that he was having the bathroom changed next year and when this has been done and replaced the cutlery and utensils we would go back. If he also updat ed the lounge and kitchen as well we would DEFFINATELY go back. When we did have the odd problem Kostas sorted it out immediately and checked that we were ok. Overall, good value for money and that view will stay with us for a long long time. Thank you Kostas.

Excellent value for money with air conditoning , daily maid service and safe included Kostas and his family obviously pride themselves on offering a personal and caring service The description was very accurate and the apartments are ideally situated and within a stones throw to the centre of Kassiopi but just far enough away for peace and quiet if needed. The pool was great and plenty of sunbeds. All clean and cared for without exception I would return and recommend and thanks to Kostas for a brilliant holiday

Beautiful location, a bit too far to walk into Kassiopi - car hire needed really. But lots of beautiful places to explore, or just staying at the house with the great pool is good too! The directions say you need to collect the key from Solaris in the town, but you dont - its left in the door. A little thing but it added half an hour to our journey. And also a welcome pack in the house eg bottle of water, milk, bread etc would have been a nice touch. But overall a reall great place, hopefuul well be back.

Not bad overall. Theres no double bed, crockery & utensil are poor. The local neighbour is friendly-though when they had family staying they stayed in the room above your living room- which in noisy. Oh & the ants are a nightmare!! The positives:- Costas the owner is nice. The pool is great. The view is amazing, And apart from the crickets, Its quiet.

It was the second time wed stayed here and we love it. Its a lovely location, and the pool is brilliant. You need a car. The instructions still say to go to Solaris apartments to get the key, but the key is actually left in the door of the house, so you can save a wasted half hour or so if you read this! The house could be better equipped eg there were four of us, but there werent four glasses or mugs. and it would be lovely if there were some basic provisions for when you arrive, as weve often had elsewhere. But other than that, its great.

We spent a week at Solaris Apartments in July and were thoroughly satisfied with the atmosphere, the facilities and the surroundings. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean. All the information we received from your website was accurate.

a great place to stay. the room we had booked was a studio apartment for 2 people and this perfect for our needs. it was clean and mosquito free!! it was a very short walk to all the bars, shops and harbour and it was only a short way from the beach. the staff were very friendly and did all they could to make us feel welcome. we would definitely book to go here again.

Recently returned from staying at the solaris.Very well run, really good accomodation especially the studio where Hanna and Emily stayed which was good value for money. What amazed me was how friendly everyone was from Kostas and Yanni who are so hospitable and ensure you have a good holiday to the visitors to the Solaris who return year after year. The apartments are centrally located in the middle of the village but so peaceful. My daughters and neices age 14 to 18 had a fantastic holiday,made lots of friends and experienced total freedom.Kassioppi is a beautiful place set in a exquisite part of the Island.
