Theres not a review already on the site and the description of the apartment is quite brief, so I will do a longer review than I normally would. The apartment is located above the owners own house. Access to the apartment is via a spiral staircase to the exterior of the building. We have a young child (2 years) and this was not really suitable. There is a nice patio area, but there is no gate to the staircase, so its not possible to leave a child unattended. It would be a nice area to sunbathe in the summer. The pool area looked nice and as per the pictures, although as it was winter the pool was closed. BEDROOMS: The apartment has 3 double bedrooms, all with reasonable comfortable beds. Heating and aircon are in these rooms only. Only 1 pilow is provided per person and more could be used. Towels and Bedding is provided, but we were there a week and these were not changed. LIVING AREA: The living area is quite small and only has seating for 4 people, so if you ave 6 adults, its not possible for everyone to sit in this area. Also, there is no aircon/heating in this room. We were here during the winter, and the heating from the master bedroom was sufficient to heat the living area, althogh I do not know if the aircon (its the same unit as the heating) would be as effective during the summer. There is a small TV with satellite provided - however for english speaking stations, there is only BBC World and perhaps CNN. KITCHEN: The kitchen is a nice area and adequately furnished. It does not have a dishwasher, but everything else is provided. BATHROOMS: There are 2 bathroom, 1 which is just a toilet, bidet and sink, the other the same but with a shower. There is not a bath in either. OWNERS: The owners seem quite nice people and helpful. There were a few things we asked for and most were provided, although things such as towels for the kitchen and a iron I think should be available as standard. LOCATION: The location is close to the centre of Sorrento. Its about a 5 min walk to Tasso Piazza. Parking is provided at the apartment, although I would not choose to drive into Sorrento. There are a couple of small supermarkets near by (2/3 mins walk) and slightly bigger ones about 10 mins walk. The walk to sorrento is pleasant and it is certainly a good location to stay. Views of the hills from the apartment are also very good. SUMMARY: I would recommend this apartment for no more the 4 adults. I would say it is not really suitable for anybody with young children. If you are looking for somewhere clean, central and in a safe environment, this is certainly worth considering.

Simply lovely! Very peaceful and relaxing yet close enough to explore other tourist attractions by car. We would love to come back soon!

We were there for a family wedding (14 of us in total) and we took 3 of the apartments. The place was so perfect for us, we were so relaxed and felt right at home. It is brilliant for children who can run around and be free, which they couldnt do in a hotel. The owners were so helpful and friendly and made us feel so welcome, they did everything they could to accommodate us. The gardens and pool are so pretty, we basically had it to ourselves. The apartment is about a 10 min (max) walk to the town, but you feel like you are in the countryside, it couldnt be better. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian living with all the tourist facilities close by. It was a wonderful retreat and we would definitely go back. Like the previous review said, its like a hidden gem, but should be shared, cos its so great! Mr. Adrian F. - GERMANY - 10 July 2011 We had a very pleasant experience during our week at Casa Cristy. We were warmly greeted and offered assistance whenever it was required. The surroundings of lemon and orange trees and the lovely pool setting created a very relaxed atmosphere. We were easily able to walk to the center of town and the train station. So, it was not necessary to have a car during our week stay there.

Mr. Mike - USA - 11 July 2011 Approaching the complex you would be forgiven for being a little worried about the location but on arrival those reservations will vanish. The fact that the residence is a short walk (5 - 10 mins from Piazza Tasso) turns out to be a godsend and not a problem. The tranquility of the location is well recieved compared to the hussle and bustle of the Piazza Tasso area (we stayed in Palazzo Di Guardati on our wedding night and although a lovely hotel it was quite noisy early in the morning due to the sheer amount of tourists in Piazza Tasso). The apartment themselves are set within a lemon grove which is a lovely setting. There is a pool with ample sun loungers, a gorgeous solid wooden table with bench seating either side that would have definitely been our wedding reception venue choice had we not already organised it prior to the holiday. There are hammocks, swings, rooftop solarium and another outside eating area also. Inside the villas (we had Giordana and Ticky) you get everything that you need. They are clean and well set out with TV, decent showers, kitchenette areas etc. Nothing more to say really. What makes the stay such a pleasure (besides what is mentioned above) is the staff and especially Gino. He went out of his way to help make our stay a memorable one and he neednt have done as within 15mins of arriving, myself and my newly appointed wife had already decided that we were going to return next year. The pool was lovely and well-kept by walk into town takes about 10 minutes and is very pleasant. If you just want to go to the store for something it will take at least 20 minutes round-trip. We felt very much at home and loved the atmosphere and relax. The gardens and lemon trees were beautiful. Thank you
