We ( 5 adults) had a week stay. Generally the apartment is luxurious and very comfortable but the 4 bathrooms in the advert is incorrect. There is a luxurious en-suite ( jacuzzi out of action for our stay), a shared shower room/WC and a toilet/WC. The study etc is not available for use and the WI-FI very limited. Satellite TV in the living room was limited to news channels, no loss to us though. The remaining TVs were Italian channels only.The terrace was beautiful with the surrounding orange, fig and lemon trees but unfortunately the BBQ mentioned was not present. The location is as others have described very quiet (except for early morning dogs), shops are easily reached on the main road as is the station and bus stop, so access to Sorrento or Naples/Pompeii/Ercolano very easy and cheap. We did not find any local restaurants available apart from at the beach which is 1500m not 500m and a very steep road or staircase at the end. The property would greatly benefit with some written details so operation of the gas oven and hob and the microwave would have been easy without having to contact Dorotea, who did quickly help us. The kitchen is well equipped but with limited cooking utensils, an extra benefit not expected was the washing machine. The holiday was a success but in the points mentioned the apartment did not live up to expectations.

A comfortable and quiet place to relax, albeit access by road is a challenging drive and the local buses run to an unknown schedule, but this all adds to the uniqueness of the property. Anna, the local manager, was friendly and very helpful. It's an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas of Sorrento, Amalfi, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Naples, etc. The small village setting and the friendly locals made this a memorable stay.

We were a family of myself, husband, brother and sister-in-law all 50+. This apartment is absolutely stunning, the pictures are very accurate. Huge, clean, well equipped rooms in quiet surroundings. Would have preferred a few more shops, bars, restaurants locally, but the peace and quiet was lovely. Meta train station is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and will take you to Sorrento in minutes and in the other direction, to Pompeii, Naples etc., very easy and cheap travelling. Covent Garden bar and restaurant is only a few minutes walk away and they do great food, very reasonably priced. Carmine the management of the apartment, was very helpful, he arranged a private minibus with Joe Banana Limos, to do a day tour around the Amalfi coast, well worth the money, dont miss out on this. Transfers to and from the apartment were also with Joe Banana Limos, very good service. Dorotea the owner of the apartment, was wonderful and visited a few times to check all was ok and to give advise on the local area. She also picked some vegetables from her garden and gave to us. She even came to the apartment and 5am on the morning of our departure, to bid us farwell !!! All in all a beautiful apartment, well managed and a delight to live in for two weeks. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in this lovely apartment with absolutely stunning views. Thank you to Giovanni, the owner who ensured that our every need was attended to. Always with helpful and friendly advice with regards to where to visit and the best way of doing it. A particular thanks to him for booking my husbands scuba diving when we had a big language barrier. The apartment is very nice with everything you need and the outside space is perfect for those lazy evening bbqs and relaxing. Moiano itself is very pretty, with so many friendly people and everything you need for your holiday. Thank you once again Giovanni, Anna and Alfonso.

An hidden gen in Positano We had an absolutely enchanting experience. The property's picturesque setting, perched above Positano with stunning views of the coastline, immediately captivated me. The attention to detail in every aspect of the villa's design and amenities truly made it feel like a luxurious home away from home. We already booked for next year to bring our children. The hospitality at Casa Dorotea is truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was memorable. From providing insightful local recommendations to organizing personalized excursions, their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident throughout. One of the highlights of or stay was the delectable cuisine offered by Dorotea's husband, Franco. He served mouthwatering Italian dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The meal was a culinary delight, and the dining experience was elevated by the picturesque environment.

The villa was the perfect place for our family of 15. The scenery was spectacular and it was so conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. (We needed easy access since we had strollers and small children.) The yard was a safe place for the little ones to run around and enjoy themselves as the adults sat on the patio around the large table. The pool was a wonderful place to hang out as well and we had a pizza party by the pool which was a huge hit with everyone! Carmine and Giusy were wonderful to work with. They were so polite, kind, and very helpful. Carmine arranged all our transportation to and from the airport, our boat excursions to Capri and the Amalfi coast, and our dinner reservations. Everything went so smoothly and we had our dream vacation. We loved the house, and all the windows with the cross breezes we would get in the evenings. We miss being there and would highly recommend this place to stay.

We had a great time in this house and on the very spacious property A fantastic view over the valley and the Amalfi Coast guarantees a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun by the pool. The house is equipped with all the necessary equipment and offers plenty of space for large families. The stone oven in front of the house is great, on which we baked delicious pizza after it was heated by the extremely nice owners. Small tip:; Would like to make more dough... What we found difficult was the bus connection to Positano, as the bus in Colli di Fontanelle is often already full. Better get on in Sorrento or take a taxi... Overall a nice holiday. We can fully recommend the house

We met up for a 60th birthday reunion with friends from around the world. The villa was perfect , and despite horrendous weather we had a great time - Enza was very attentive and gave us a lovely home made birthday cake with Lemoncello on the side to celebrate. Because of the poor weather, the saving grace was the excellent Pizzeria below - Alberto and Irene were ever welcoming and their food and hospitality was unrivalled during our 3 weeks in Italy.

One of the best places to visit in the world! Beautiful villa and location in walking distance to the beach, marina, and lots of restaurants and beach clubs. There’s parking and a bus stop directly outside the villa. Incredibly welcoming hosts and helped with organizing a lot of tours and giving us advice on the area. Highly recommend staying here!
