Lovely stay in Lagos, apartment had great space and facilities, kids loved the pool!

We have just arrived back from a really enjoyable 2nd stay at Wyborn. It is ideally situated on the Marina it is within easy walking distance to all the bars and restaurants but still in a quiet location. There is plenty of free parking outside the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday This year we took our lovely 2 year old grandson who really enjoyed the pool area which is beautifully maintained and completely secure We will definitely be back again soon

I almost don’t want to write a review as I want to keep it as hidden gem! We’ve just returned from another wonderful week in Lagos. Maria’s apartment truly is a home from home. It has everything you can think of, and for those other things there’s a supermarket just a stone’s throw away. It’s a great location, and the pool is lovely (if a bit chilly). As with pretty much all other holiday destinations, be prepared for the early morning sun lounger battle during busy times, but there’s plenty of space around the pool. Lagos itself has a great mix of restaurants and bars and the beaches are some of the best we’ve seen. It’s also very handy for the train - maybe a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We’d definitely recommend!

My partner, daughter and I had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is clean, spacious, well equiped and well situated for the beach and the town. We have stayed at this apartment several times, it really does feel like a home away from home. We plan to return again next year. Maria the owner is charming and always very helpful.

We really enjoy our holiday in Lagos. The apartment was fantastic, exceptionally clean and had everything you could need for a perfect holiday. The location was excellent we would not hesitate to recommend it to family and frineds . We look forward to staying again in the future.

Outstanding apartment, exceptionally clean, very speacious and in a wondferful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate booking this apartment again. The only criticism would be that there could be more sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool area. The apartment owner was extremely helpful with information prior to our stay.

Excellent apartment in ideal location, beach, marina, town etc. Easy to get to from Faro. Efficient staff. Would definitely recommend it. That said, in peak months the number of sun loungers may present an issue with some beds being "reserved" but unused for a couple of hours on occasion. Also, non residents appeared to have access during my stay.

Reviewed June 11, 2011 I would like to thank Maria for letting us rent her fabulous marina apartment, yet again. We have now been going to Lagos and this apartment for 8 years and it just get better everytime. The apartment has everything you could wish for on holiday. It really is a home from home holiday. Fantastic bedrooms, 2 bathrooms huge kitchen, living/dining room and balcony. The view over the pool and marina just add to the overall enjoyment. Lagos town is a great size not too big and has lots of great restaurants which are not very expensive. I better get my skates on and book in again for my nexy holiday.

Reviewed August 5, 2012 Edinburgh to Faro direct and return is good - no flight changes. Faro airport under reconstruction following storm damage, so a little time consumming to find the hire car place. However drive to Lagos (1 1/4 hrs) was pleasant and steady and lovely views. Apartment block is walking distance from Pingo Doce, the supermarket. Prices good particularly the lovely local stuff. Met by the complex Rep. Corinne and had a good introduction. Entry to the apartment was a big WOW. Very artistic, high standard and new. Good ambience with lots of extras such as books/DVDs. The kitchen is fully equiped if you decide to cook. The flat is like a home from home, spacious, well laid out, very comfortable, private. Early season but we still had breakfast on the veranda overlooking the swimming pool, which was never too busy. Colder temperatures in the evening were compensated by free use of the electric heat pumps (double as air conditioners).
