We have recently returned from a six week winter holiday at this property, our fourth visit over the last few years.  The house was clean and in good decorative order, the kitchen was very well equipped with good quality pans, crockery and cutlery and the arrival of a new kitchen table and chairs during our stay was much appreciated. Good Wi-fi and UK TV channels were also a bonus.

The most outstanding feature of this property is without doubt the large terrace which gets the sun all day and has the most amazing views over the golf course towards the mountains.  Once the sun goes down in the evening, the temperature in the house drops quite quickly and the lounge becomes very chilly.  There is an open fire which we assume is for decorative purposes only as there have never been any fireside tools provided.  The air conditioning unit can be switched to the reverse position to emit heat but it wasn’t very effective – this would not be a problem during the summer months of course.  

The bed in the main bedroom is the same one that was there when we first stayed at the house eight years ago.  The memory foam mattress is now very uncomfortable and perhaps should be replaced soon.  

That said, we really enjoyed being back at Valle Verde, the neighbours are incredibly friendly and helpful and we had a fantastic time.  We very much look forward to returning in the future.

We recently stayed at the villa and almost everything was perfect.  The only very small issue we had was that the sheet on the bed in the main bedroom was very worn and scratchy and we couldn't find any others in the villa to change it for, so we just bought a sheet ourselves which wasn't a big problem.  Lesley was very helpful when needed.
We have been going down to the Costa del sol twice a year for the last 20+ years and if we find a  property we really like we always return if possible therefore before we left the villa I booked for June next year and would have booked for September this year but there was no availability.

We had a lovely stay here, property is well equipped and well maintained. Lesley, who manages the property locally is delightful and very happy to help with anything you may need.

Overall I would recommend this property yo anyone wanting a nice quiet break. You will need a car as there are only a couple of restaurants locally. Nice location overlooking the golf course.

Our second visit to Valle Verde 12( previous 2015). Stayed for 23 nights, most enjoyable stay, house is good value for money, maybe a little 'tired' in places since our last visit. It was  clean inside and out ( credit to the cleaner as this must have been difficult due to the recent storms and muddy rain). The views are beautiful from the terrace which gets the sun all day. A car is essential to explore this lovely area.
We did not have any problems, but good to know that Keith and Lesley are still nearby if needed. We did miss the table &amp; chairs in the kitchen as not always warm enough to sit outside for breakfast.  Would recommend El Golf for reasonably priced food and drinks, very pleasant staff, and within walking distance.
Hoping to book again for next year

We really enjoyed our stay. Lesley, who looks after the property for the host, was very friendly and super helpful, sorting out any issues we had immediately and even giving us her mosquito lotion! Flexibility over check in/out was much appreciated. The house itself is exactly as it appears on the (helpful) video. Plenty of space, well equipped (TV has just about every channel possible) with effective air-con and a large balcony with both shaded and sunny parts. The shared pool was a real bonus. Not much in the local area other than the golf course so you need a car, but there are some decent restaurants a few minutes walk away - Hoyo 19 highly recommended but gets busy, so booking advised. Overall, this is a great holiday home at a very reasonable price - we would definitely stay here again if we came back to this part of Spain.

We are a family of four children with two small children. We had a wonderful stay at Valle Verde. We stayed for three weeks and really loved it. The property is really nice with a specious kitchen, living room and bedrooms and a really nice outdoor terrace. 

There are two swimming pools, which are clean and not very busy. Even during high season, we often had the pool to ourselves. There is plenty of parking on the main road just outside the urbanisation. There is one restaurant a few minutes from the house and two further restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. 
The nearest supermarket is about 5 minutes drive away.

Lesley who manages the property is extremely helpful! 

Would highly recommend this holiday rental!

The area is quite busy but the house is in a good location away from the most densely populated area of the resort.  There are 3 restaurants within very easy walking distance and supermarkets nearby. The English mini-market  just on the Coin road is open on Sundays and probably the closest. There is a very good green grocery at hoyo 19 garden centre. The veg is fresh, some of it organic and prices are good.

There are 20 stairs from the nearest parking access down to the house.  Not a problem for most people and there are alternative routes, but worth considering if anyone has limited mobility. 

Our only frustration was with the oven which kept tripping out. The function symbols have worn off so using the oven was guess work.  A simple diagram or some basic instructions would no doubt remedy this.

We were here in December so can’t say what it would be like in high season but we enjoyed our stay.
