We had the best of times at the Villa. All was better than advertised. The pool was beautiful, the water so clean. We found all the facilities are perfect for families and anyone wanting a peaceful break. If I may add just a small constructive criticism 😔 The Villa Could Benefit From a large plaque with the Villa Name and lote number at the front of the Villa for ease of location. Especially one that looks typically Portuguese.

Our second stay at this lovely villa, it feels very homely and comfortable.The pool area is great and we made good use of the BBQ, the upgrades to the bathrooms are very nice. Will hopefully return at some time in the future.

Our 2nd time staying in Avagarosa. Wonderful location that suited our family . Peaceful and quiet during the day . Easy access to restaurants in Carvoeiro and Ferragudo . We had a hire car , uber was cheap and plentiful when needed . Local shop and 2 restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Beautiful beaches within 10 /15 minutes drive . Portimão , nature reserve , water park all close by WiFi was down on arrival , new router sorted very quickly . Sun parasol in outdoor dining area was replaced promptly when ripped . Cleaner /bed linen change twice a week , regular pool maintenance and garden maintained weekly . A/c only in 2 bedrooms but airflow in house meant it was comfortable when temperatures exceedeee 35 degrees . A very well equipped kitchen . Will be back in the future .

We had a lovely time, this villa has everything you need, plus a little bit more, loads to do especially on the few rainy days we had, nice restraunts nearby, local shop quite expensive but many supermarkets a 5min drive away.

My stay at Avagarosa was truly wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Stunning surroundings and top-tier amenities made it one of the best stays I’ve had in a long time. I would love to return in the future and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Booking with Clickstay was straight forward and when contacted the owner responded promptly. The villa is accurately described, competitively priced, clean, spacious and well equipped. The courtyard area is great for Alfresco dining and the swimming pool superb - we spent hours in it as the weather was so hot! It’s just a few minutes stroll to the village centre which has a bar; snack bar; well stocked mini market; general store and couple of restaurants. If you don’t mind a 15 minute walk then a couple more restaurants can be reached - the set price lunch and dinner menu at ‘Restaurante Cozinha da Avó is very popular with locals and should you want to venture further afield independent transport is an obvious advantage and with the central location of Sesmarias, a choice of towns, beaches, restaurants and supermarkets are all within a ten minute drive. We had a lovely family holiday at Villa Avagarosa, thank the hosts and commend it. Would we return - yes of course.

This is our third time at avagarosa, first time with children. Cannot recommend highly enough! A beautiful villa and the pool is amazing. Feels like a home away from home and we are already planning our next visit. The only downsides were the air con in 2 of the rooms was not working, fridge isn’t very cold and some of the beds could do with comfier mattresses. Nevertheless we enjoyed every minute of it and cannot wait to come back. Pricing is fantastic, the area is beautiful, local restaurants were great.

Highly recommend Avagarosa . Had a wonderful 19 night break as a family of 5 adults . Relaxing in and beside the saltwater pool with the wonderful scent of honeysuckle at night. Exploring the many beaches ,villages and towns nearby . Peaceful residential neighbourhood. We had a hire car but bus stop was close by . Local restaurants in Sesmarias within walking distance and easy access to the many fabulous restaurants in Carvoeiro, Ferragudo and Portimão. Well equipped spacious nice airy house . Would definitely stay here again if back in the area . Loved the wraparound balcony and the climbing bougainvillea.

We had a great family holiday, first time in Portugal, loved it. Managed to see 2 football matches in local stadiums, cave boat trip and visits to beautiful local beaches. House was spacious, relaxing. Pool was refreshing and BBQ a welcome addition. Fantastic local restaurant in walking distance. Couple of improvements could be made - fridge freezer not the best and mobile air con unit in one room not as good as the two rooms our children 'bagged', but overall a really enjoyable trip. We had a great time here. The villa is extremely clean and very spacious. A few areas need some updating but it’s incredibly good value for money. It’s a little difficult to find if you miss the vital turning like we did but if you head for Luisas Place or the Sesmarias supermarket you’ll easily find it. We went to one of the nearest beaches at Farragudo which is beautiful. Head up the hill from the first car park. There’s two bars/ restaurants and free parking Local supermarket is great but for better value head to the Pingo Doce about 8 mins away by car. Luisas place 4 min walk is an excellent restaurant run by a Dutchman Hari. Great food, friendly staff. There was a bit of noise from dogs some nights. And the daytimes can get busy as it’s all apartments around so there’s poolmen and handymen arriving and doing their bit. All in all incredible villa, everything possible you can think of in the kitchen, hairdryers, games and an entire bookshelf of books to borrow. Thank you
