We absolutely loved our stay at the Stables at Mount Cashel! The estate is beautiful, the house a perfect size for our group of relatives traveling together. Kitchen is extremely well appointed and the living/dining areas very functional and cozy. The beds are nice and comfy and ample linens/towels are supplied. The patio area is spectacular for your morning coffee or evening happy hour. The stroll to the lake is fabulous.
We loved the estate pets, Harvey, Milo and Max! The owners were very attentive without being intrusive.
Sixmilebridge and Mount Cashel are a perfect location to base yourself for exploring the central and west of Ireland.
Highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

Amy, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Mount Cashel Stables. It was a pleasure hosting you & would be delighted to welcome you back anytime.
What a lovely retreat. We wish we had time to stay longer as we barely got to enjoy the lake or scenery. We were so busy driving around Ireland. Highly recommend and glad we were able to book directly with owners.
We had the most wonderful stay at Mount Cashel. My family of 4 stayed in The Stables and we could not have asked for a better accommodation. The grounds are beautiful -- so much green space for young children to run and play. My kids especially loved the trampoline and watching the donkeys (small horses?) eat in the fields. The home is beautiful and has everything one could need. The washer and dryer were extremely helpful. The owners even left us breakfast supplies after learning that we were arriving very early in the morning. We were so sad to leave this beautiful spot and sincerely hope that we can return!
I've been to this house for the third time, I love coming back there, it's quiet, peaceful, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner, Pat, is very kind and always welcomes guests and is always willing to help.
Highly recommended.❤️
We had the pleasure of staying at Mount Cashel Stables for a week. What a find! It is even better than described. The teens had a ball in the lake, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming every day. Sixmilebridge was only a few minutes drive away with a Centra for all your supplies. We visited Bunratty, Ennis, Limerick, Killaloe for the Sunday market and a river cruise and had walks in nearby forest park. We will be back! Thanks for a great much needed holiday Pat and Annette!

A beautiful place to stay. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The sun shone and we made full use of the kayaks and canoes and swam in the lake every day. Will definitely return.
