Hi, we are from the UK and have lived in Mallorca for 15 years, as my husband has a Mallorcan family originally from Valdemossa. We moved to Alaró as we love the village - it has one of the prettiest village squares, lots of lively bars and restaurants and fantastic hiking and cycling. It’s a great location for both visiting Palma and the north and west coast beaches. Having spent eight years renovating the finca in Alaró we now rent it out full time, as both our children have left home and we have moved to the north.
