Our family had a great two week vacation at Villa Lorane. The Villa is set in Esentepe on a quiet and tranquil development of private and rental villas. Esentepe is around 30 minutes drive from Kyrenia to to the east, so having a car is mandatory in my view. The Villa is modern, light and airy, perfect for a two week stay for four to six adults. The weather during our stay at the end of Sept was warm day and night, and not so warm as to require any air-conditioning nor need for heating in the evening. The management company were very helpful and on hand should they be needed. Overall a great villa and a wonderful area for a vacation.Read more
We have just returned from a very relaxing and excellent week. Muzaffer couldn’t do enough for us and there were nice touches like food and drink in the fridge and fruit left out. The portable wi fi was extremely useful as it enabled us to utilise the sat nav app that he recommended. The villa was very comfortable with plenty of towels etc and was well located for the very pretty village of Bellapais where there were plenty of good restaurants. Collection from and to the airport was extremely efficient as were car hire arrangements. Would thoroughly recommend this villa. Many thanks MuzafferRead more
The property was stunning ..beautiful pool ..marble staircase ..generous sized rooms 3 bathrooms . Great veiws from the pool . Garden balconys and bathrooms ...stewart the owner was both knowlegeable and helpful from the villa to car rental . The boat trip from the harbour is a must if you want to experience the beautiful clear ocean and swim and snorkle ..we had a fantastic week it was our first time in cyprus and we would definatly go back the north is very cheap and the people are very friendly . We spent the last day in the south which was much more expensive and touristy ..The north is definatly more to my taste ..highly recommend Blue horizon villa its one of the nicest i have stayed in and good value for money 😁Read more
The Villa was lovely a pleasure to stay in. The TV/DVD/Games Consul didn't work, in fact we couldn't even get a signal from the TV. Instructions in the pack didn't help and the managers advice "Keep pressing buttons and something may happen" was not what I would have hoped for from a manger of mine. Pleasant as the manager was, apart from the initial visit, we didn't see her again, not even on the day of departure ( money for old rope springs to mind). The one major thing that isn't mentioned anywhere is the thumping of "House/Dance" music virtually every night from around 10pm until circa half three. Coming from some distance away, but obviously from a club/complex. The en suite bedroom took the brunt of it and my sister was shattered after the holiday due to lack of sleep. Area was nice, the local bar the Fez full of nice very helpful staff and Kyrenia (easily reachable by bus) had plenty of nice bars and restaurants. Overall a nice holiday with only the noise at night a real issue.Read more
We stayed at Villa Casiobury for two weeks and all five of us in the group agreed that our holiday was absolutely brilliant . Mike and Lynn were excellent hosts and dealt with any queries, whether transfers from the airport, places to eat or sights to see in the most prompt and informative manner. The villa is in a superb location with views over a deep blue sea or of marvellous sunsets. Those on the ground floor can emerge from their room to find the pool three or four paces away across the terrace. The villa has all the facilities any size of group up to 8 people could wish for-there were five of us- and there is ample room for people to spend time quietly/ alone so that you are not on top of each other all the time. Esentepe is a small village but a great base to discover Northern Cyprus, which is less commercialised than the Greek part. There are bars and restaurants, most of which we visited at some stage- sunset at Windy Hill a must, as is a trip to the north eastern tip of the island-about one and a half hours- to see the sanctuary for wild donkeys and a beach which is the equivalent of any in New Zealand. The drive back along the coast with the sun setting was every bit as good as Big Sur. Kyrenia, Salamis, I could go on. Dont delay, book today! A brilliant base for a brilliant holiday. Thanks once more to Mike and Lynn Andrew , Helen,Richard, Margaret and Angela.Read more
What words could you describe this amazing property breathtaking, stunning, beautiful, perfect, we could go on! We spent most of our time relaxing at the villa enjoying the facilities that included the pool, BBQ, terraces, stunning views and the gorgeous weather. However, we can highly recommend taking a walk into the village and eating at Remzis and having a few drinks in the sunshine in Tumba. We took a trip to Kantara castle where the kids enjoyed pretending to be knights and princesses in there own castle. Ours was only a short break but we will be coming back to visit, Kyrenia, Alagadi beach, Morphou bay and to reach the tip of the pan handle. Mike and Lyn, we can only thank you enough for allowing us to experience your beautiful villa and the setting in which it is in. See you very soon :)Read more

We had a quick chat with Yonel who owns an apartment in Esentepe, Northern Cyprus. It sleeps 4 people, is a 2 minute walk from the beach and an impressive golf-course, and there is a shared swimming pool for guests to use. The best bit… it costs from a bargain £146 per week!

Alex owns The Lookout, a peaceful and quiet haven in Kayalar, Northern Cyprus. It's about metres from the sea, and a beautiful sandy beach is just 15 minutes walk away. The villa is now surrounded by olive groves, but it wasn't always that way... Alex tells us all about his olive harvest and how you would go about producing your own olive oil.
