Is February Half Term A Good Time To Go To Florida?

The Everglades National Park

It's a resounding yes from us! Blessed with warm yet mild temperatures, February half term in Florida is a great time to take the kids away from the Spring Break and summer tourists. Things still get quite busy, particularly around Orlando Disney, but there's lots of fun to be had and magical characters to meet. Worried you'll get Disney-ed out? There are plenty of other family-friendly days out available across the state of Florida, including Gatorland, the Everglades National Park and more. Shop til you drop at one of the many shopping malls; the place for the kids to get souvenirs for the first day back. And perhaps a little something for you too...

Florida Weather In February

February in Florida is a sure-in for some New Year sunshine. With milder temperatures than other months, February is a comfortable time to visit that keeps you out of the intense high season heat. You'll get in before hurricane season so you can enjoy average highs of 23° C in one of the driest months of the year. Ideal for you to get on with doing what Florida does best - golf, beaches and epic theme parks. Plus, you wouldn't be able to splash about in your own private pool on a February afternoon at home, now would you?
