An interview with Konrad who owns a villa in Javea, Spain

CAM00439a We recently had a natter with Konrad who has a gorgeously green and perfectly peaceful villa in the rolling mountains of Montgo National Park. It sleeps 6 people, has beautiful views from the garden, and a private swimming pool.   Hi Konrad, tell us a little bit about your property and its location.  Its located high on the slopes of the Montgo mountain of Javea with a panoramic view over a wide valley with almonds, wine and oranges and to the mountains of the hinterland. It has a large 2000 square-metre garden with mature trees. It has a large grassy area too.   Why do you love the area? It is quiet, the sunsets are wonderful, and the Montgo mountains provide the most breath-taking backdrop.   Who would you recommend this property to? I would recommend my villa to couples who want a romantic getaway, parents with children, those that seek solitude, and those that like to leave the winter behind.   Talk us through your routine for making sure your property is perfect for your guests when they arrive. We have a caretaker couple who cleans the house and pool, and tidies the garden on a regular basis. They prepare the house and the beds for guest arrivals. Once the guest has paid up he will receive detailed villa and driving instructions, and my contact details so that guests can ask questions at any time. We answer within a couple of hours usually. When the guest arrives he can call a caretaker two hours before expected arrival, then the guest will be met at the house by the caretaker and given a tour of the house and will give explanations of how things work, when and how to call, when garden and pool service persons will enter the grounds, etc.   Finally, give us a recommendation for your favourite local restaurant… Los Remos is a very nice fish restaurant near the Arenal beach. I prefer the bars along the Arenal Beach promenade for “action” but the bar beyond  the Yacht Club for its quiet and romantic setting. As a beach I prefer Granadella Beach for beauty.
