The beach is wheelchair accessible and has public restrooms and showers. Lifeguard service is available in summer, as well as activities with inflatable boats or a water slide for children. All year round you can indulge in water sports such as sailing, kite surfing, windsurfing and paddle surfing, as well as rent equipment for water sports.
The promenade has a very lively atmosphere and there are numerous beach bars along the coast. You can walk on it or ride a bicycle.
The local cuisine is known for its typical paella and seafood dishes such as "Caldero" and "Arroz a Banda", as well as its wide selection of Mediterranean tapas. The wines of the region are known for their three denominations of origin.
The cities of Murcia and Cartagena, as well as the province of Alicante, are only 30 minutes away by car.
