Villa overview - owner's description

This charming and incredible villa is located in one of the most prestigious urbanisations in the Marbella area only 25 mins from Malaga Airport. The 1500sqm plot has four bedrooms, all of which lead onto the lovely mature gardens surrounded by protected cork trees and pine trees. It has two roof terraces, one looking out to the sea, the other to an open green zone and far reaching views of the mountains. To the east is the picturesque Cabopino port whilst the Golden Sand beach is rated one of the best on the coast are just a 5 mins drive away. There are several golf courses in the area and the historic old town of Marbella is just 15 mins away and Puerto Banus a further 10 mins from the old town. There is an upmarket convenience store in the urbanisation and two larger supermarkets nearby. There are many beach bars and restaurants in the area to fit all budgets.

There are 4 good sized bedrooms and distributes as follows :-
Master bedroom is en-suite with a queen-size bed.
Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have twin beds, plus one pullout.
All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, air conditioning and heating plus floor fans. The upstairs mezzanine has a sofa bed and can sleep two.
There is 1 en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom and then 1 guest bathroom and a separate cloakroom with WC.

The lower sitting room has comfortable sofas and a Scandinavian type wood burning fire place with glass doors and a fan distributing heat.
There is a separate indoor dining table and an two outdoor dining tables, one under a covered terrace.
Upstairs there is a mezzanine room that overlooks the living room and contains a large TV as well as a double sofa bed. This area leads to an large terrace, perfect for sunbathing which looks out to the sea and a smaller terrace which looks out to the mountains.

The villa has just been redecorated and is fully furnished. There is air conditioning / heating in all bedrooms and floor fans are also provided. All bedrooms are on the ground floor and have access to the extensive gardens. There are handrails that lead to the mezzanine TV room whilst the swimming pool is also equipped with handrails for easier accessibility.
There is also a tennis court in the Urbanisation which can be used free of charge.

On the outside area of the property , there is a driveway that can fit 2 cars comfortably and is protected by a secure front gate. The gardens are sprawling with protected cork and pine trees providing a little welcome shade in the summer. An 11m private swimming pool is located by the house and is not visible from any neighbours. There are lounge chairs for sunbathing and outdoor tables for alfresco dining either under the covered terrace or one of the beautiful trees.

Car hire is recommended although taxis are available and buses accessible.

There is an upmarket convenience store in the Urbanisation and two larger supermarkets nearby, one of which sells fresh seafood everyday. There is also a butcher and an extensive delicatessen section. There are many beach bars and restaurants that cater to almost every taste - from Spanish to Italian, Indian, Chinese, Japanese etc. There is a bank in the commercial centre and a chemist aswell.

Despite a wait for the keys, our initial impression of the villa was excellent, with very spacious accommodation, beautifully kept gardens with mature trees and flowers and lovely pool, set in a quiet development. Inside the villa was clean and well equipped, however the patio areas had not been swept and one of the outdoor tables was very dirty.
We were provided with only one set of keys which was a problem with 2 families including several adults.
Gardeners/pool cleaners attended the property at least once to our knowledge but in 10 days linen was not changed, although the property included a washer/dryer.
A car is essential and provides access to plentiful bars, restaurants, shops, beaches etc.
Overall our group inc 3 children had a great time and would definitely return to this villa.

This villa is in a quiet area near the sea. It has a pool, a barbecue, a garden and a tennis court. Car hire is recommended as the villa is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is not available.
