Barrancos holiday villa rental with private pool

Villa AL Fresco offers superb outdoor living areas in a tranquil setting but is close to the lovely town of Guia with its great selection of local restaurants and café bars.

Please note, we don't accept reservations from groups of young people under the age of 24 years.

The villa has recently undergone some renovations and offers charming and cozy accommodation for up to 10 people (maximum 8 adults + 2 children/adolescents).

Please be informed that this villa was partiality refurbished during 2019/2020 and due to the pandemic was not possible to finish the works.
Therefore, the two bathrooms and the kitchen (although they are fully functional and clean) are not refurbished yet.

Also be advised that this villa is a country side house that accepts pets from our guests. The owners have one very friendly white cat that lives outside, but sometimes gets into the house during day time.
This cat is being taken care of by them, by next door neighbor, and also the many pet friendly guests that stay in the villa.

Entering the main villa, the white fitted kitchen is functional and has electric hob, combination washing machine with dryer, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, iron/ironing board, toaster, kettle, electric juicer, coffee machine and an electric hand whisk. There are ample pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery for preparing meals.

A couple of steps lead down into the spacious living area where there are several chairs and sofas, a TV with choice of some English-speaking channels (and Netflix) and air conditioning. The traditional woven bamboo effect high ceiling is a beautiful feature of this bright and airy room. Doors lead out on to a rear terrace and also to the main front terrace and swimming pool area.

Down a couple more steps there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, small fitted wardrobe and air conditioning and the other bedroom has twin single beds, small fitted wardrobe and air conditioning. These bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub and shower over.

Open style stairs (in the living room) lead to the master suite on the first floor, with double bed, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. There are also 2 private terraces offering views over the gardens. The master suite has a private bathroom (with bathtub / shower over).

Externally is where you will desire to spend your time as the grounds of the villa are quite spectacular offering numerous different seating or lounging areas and the most fabulous huge shaded dining area! There is a charcoal BBQ and small sink and different level terraces around the swimming pool give the grounds a real quirky feel.

There are also grassed areas and gardens with beautiful local shrubs and plants.

Within the grounds is a separate annex which has been totally refurbished. It comprises of an open plan living area with 2 single sofa beds, air conditioning, a bedroom with twin beds and air conditioning and a separate shower room.

The grounds are completely fenced, and access is via electric gates. There is ample outdoor parking for at least 5 vehicles.

Up to 3 animals are accepted with an additional cost of 55 Euros per animal, per stay, to pay in cash at check in.

All reservations include a full clean upon departure.
If your reservation is for 12 nights or more, then a change of bed sheets and towels mid-stay is also included.
If you wish you can book a towel change mid-stay with small light cleaning service for an additional cost of 30 Euros per request.
