Town house overview - owner's description
An Algarvian charming & recently totally refurbished town house, originally a fisherman's house, in the old part of Albufeira and on a typical Portuguese cobbled street, the property boasts fantastic & uninterrupted front line views of the Ocean from all three floors.
This town house, known to us as Casa Portuguesa, is spacious & modern with open windows to a large terrace directly overlooking the Ocean. The outdoor terrace has a table for 8 persons, a large umbrella with a 3 meter diameter, 6 sun loungers and a built in BBQ.
The property has been fitted with comfortable & modern furniture that serves perfectly to accommodate holiday makers. No detail has been spared.
On the ground floor is the spacious kitchen complete with a fridge/freezer, electric hob & oven, microwave, toaster & washing machine. All the basic necessities are available including cutlery, serving plates, glasses, pots & pans etc.
Also on the ground floor is a complete bathroom consisting of a shower, toilet & sink as well as a large & spacious sitting/dining room complete with a large screen TV, 32 channels and WIFI internet.
Each floor has an air conditioning unit.
The main area of the first floor is divided into a double bed bedroom and sitting room with a fireplace. The sitting room is spacious & has a comfortable seating area overlooking the ocean. The large glass windows lead to a balcony also overlooking the Ocean.
There is also a double bed bedroom on the first floor facing the street (only this bedroom and the kitchen have windows on the street side, the other rooms all overlook the ocean), which can sometimes be noisy with people walking past to go to the beach or to town.
There is a full spacious bathroom consisting of a shower/bathtub, wash basin & toilet also on the first floor.
On the second floor is the en-suite master bedroom with a double bed. It has a terrace with stunning views of the ocean. Wake up to the magnificent uninterrupted view of the ocean right in front of you from your bed.
The en-suite bathroom area has a dressing area, a shower, toilet & jaccuzzi with 2 hand basins all also overlooking the ocean.
On the staircase from the first to the second floor is a space which we used to put a single bed.
All windows & terrace doors have mosquito nets.
Available for renters are a baby kit consisting of a baby bed, playpen and high chair.
The surrounding area has many cafes & resturants to cater for all tastes. On the same street is an excellent Indian restaurant, a typical Portuguese cafe and a cafe that serves light lunches and drinks on a terrace overlooking the ocean. Walk towards the town center, about 4 minutes walk away and the food/drink options are unlimited.
One corner supermarket is one or two minutes walk away and a larger supermarket with a variety of international products is situated within walking distance - it is an uphill walk that takes about 5-7 minutes.
The fantastic stretch of sandy beach is less than a 1 minute walk away & with a glass elevator to reach it.

Car hire is not necessary as the town house is less than a 15 minute walk to a large selection of shops, bars, restaurants; however parking is not available.
