The Saray ,a magnificence villa inside the medieval city of Rhodes with pool and a garden of 1.200 m2 on the path of Pythagoras .The Mansion is dated back to 1901 and has been lovely restored under supervision by the architect Maria Ioannou.
The exceptional luxury villa offers in total 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on 3 different levels.2 bathrooms with shower & bidet ,a kitchen with dish washer and an open dinning area on 2 floors of 280 m2. An auditorium, with a closed wooden balcony ,windows with a 180 degree view over the medieval city to the Grandmaster Palace and sea view on the first floor.A cozy sitting area in front invites you to enjoy the sunrise or sunset.
The Souterrain ( can be rented separately ) with stone arch include an additional open kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher ,a mezzanine for sleeping 2 persons & 2 on a sofa bed 1.80 x 2,00 and 2 separate bathrooms with shower, toilet & bidet surrounded by invisible glas windows.
Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV ,ac , wine cooler ,safe ( only in 2 bedrooms) , wardrobe and complementary toiletries.Daily housekeeping included .Bedding are from natural material made by CocoMat and we use only biological products for cleaning.Comfy amenities are complimentary.
We can arrange transfer , daily breakfast and excursions upon request and extra charge.The whole villa and garden is for private use if the villa is rented by 10 - 12 persons .Events,weddings and parties are welcome ,please drop us a line .
The Saray is a monumental villa and famous of it’s history, the decor is elaborate and the wood is hand crafted in a way that includes mimics stone architectural elements of the building.The floor of the hall is covered with tiles and the ceiling are wooden. A handmade wooden staircase with wooden banisters and railing, leads us to the first floor. All rooms have wooden floors and ceilings , large windows and air-condition.Internal are only used Katrani, timber which brought from Turkey and marketed in Rhodes, Egypt, Marseille.The first floor and ceiling are made of wood but the ceiling is hand painted in shades of blue, yellow and tampa. Two large square frames covering the roof . Geometric shapes and romantic garlands patterns give a casual sophisticated sense of nobility without excesses.
The Greek neighbourhood is friendly and safe ,the house is located close to all sight seeings and the yacht harbour is reachable within 1 minute. Please note entrance by car is not allowed into the medieval city , parking only outside the medieval city walls!

To reach it, walk up Ippoton Street, lined with Inns each one representing a different country from
where the knights originated. Close by, the 15th-century Knights Hospital houses the
Archaeological Museum, while the nearby Byzantine Museum displays religious icons
and frescoes in the former cathedral
Also take a look at the pink 16th-century Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent,
built when Rhodes was controlled by the Ottomans. A short distance southwest of town,
overlooking the sea, the Acropolis of Ancient Rhodes is home to the Temple of Apollo
