About

I've owned this villa since I purchased it off plan in 2007. I've watched the whole area develop over the years and have fallen in love with the place. I enjoy relaxing at the villa and it feels like home from home but there are some lovely areas in the region to visit. Compared to the rest of the usual holiday destinations, it's still fantastic value, particularly if you go off the beaten track. You can enjoy the sophisticated Dinevi Marina in St Vlas or go to the charming cobbled streets of Nessebar or Sozopol or have a mad night in Sunny Beach with all the bars, restaurants and lively nightlife and it's all within an easy drive or taxi ride.

A wonderful experience, the villa is everything it appears to be and more. Situated in 'Floral Hills' Kableshkoveo, overlooking a vast sunflower field, with the Aheloy coastline on the horizon, makes for one of the most spectacular views I have experienced; during the day the term 'sea-view' is an understatement, at night, seeing the whole area lit up is amazing. The villa itself is nestled behind the 'Vineyards' resort, which has a fairly well stocked shop for essentials and good quality restaurants, which make the first few days comfortable as you settle in, as mentioned in other reviews a car is advised for ease of access due to the nature of the track leading up from the resort. There is another less direct route leading to the villa site, which is accessible from the same main road leading to the resort, it is in better condition and not impacted as much by heavy rain, making it passable by car, so it's worth having a nose about on Google Maps in advance. On car-hire, if you are unsure as I was at first, don't worry, we used Easy-rent in Sunny Beach, they collected me from the Vineyards resort reception and drove me to the office itself, when I returned the car, they also drove me back to the resort again, if you choose another firm (Top-rent etc) they will also offer a similar service. The aesthetics inside the villa are beautiful, each of the rooms have clearly been given thought and attention, containing all of the mod-cons needed to make it feel like home, it is air conditioned throughout, has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and the added bonus of a washing machine in a utility room. Outside we made good use of the pool, which was cleaned regularly during our stay and is a delight in the baking sunshine, there are plenty of seating options to suit your needs and even a selection of inflatables, which the kids were very happy with. We did not venture too far, mainly to Ravda, which is a lovely town with shops, bars, restaurants and it's own beach with free-parking, it's quieter than Sunny Beach overall - we also visited Nessebar frequently, old-town in particular, as it has a night-market and great sea-food restaurants offering a panorama of the Black Sea. The Aquapark at Nessebar is a must, it's a very efficient site with plenty of staff, a huge array of slides, pools, entertainment and good quality food/drink on offer, if you do visit for the first time, you will be given a band that looks like a watch, it's used to pay for everything in the park itself, so make sure to add funds at the cash office and return when leaving to get refunded. In terms of food shopping, LIDL is nearby and very handy, a little further out is Janet Grand Market, which is bigger and has far more options to choose from, whichever you choose, the fridge/freezer in the villa is big enough to be nicely stocked for several days. I'd like to thank Sharon, as her communication through-out was impeccable, our transfers were arranged to and from the airport, we had no issues with those and were looked after by 'Dimitar' a local taxi-driver (+00359 879 059 057 on WhatsApp) who offers competitve rates and is a fantastic guy, if you do visit and need a taxi, please don't hesitate to contact him. Additionally, we were impacted by the UK Air Traffic Control issues in August and our return flight was cancelled, we received no assistance from our airline, but Sharon was contactable at short notice and as the villa was available, we were allowed to stay until we sorted out a return flight ourselves - having a base as comforable as the villa, with a good internet connection, made the disruption much easier to deal with. Despite the issues returning home, the extra few days were a bonus, I already miss the villa and look forward to a possible return in the future.

Had an amazing stay in this here. Villa is lovely. The bedrooms are spacious and the top two have balconies looking out onto amazing views. It is very quiet, so is great to sit by the pool and unwind with a much needed breeze. The Hotel is a 10 minute walk away and has a restaurant which offers good food at a reasonable price and a nice bar. We hired a car which would definitely recomend as there are so many lovely places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The Villa is in a lovely quiet position with beautiful views. It was perfect for the peaceful retreat that we required. Definitely need transport for food shopping though as the nearby hotel shop is very low on anything useful. The villa was lovely and clean, although our sheets and towels all had holes in and had seen better days. The WiFi and TV didn’t work and we didn’t actually manage to get it fixed until 2 days before we left. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the pool was a massive plus for our children. I would not recommend using the taxi service suggested by the owner as they ripped us off. A local taxi driver charged us less than half for our airport transfer.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and I’m so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Would you mind letting me know which taxi driver you used as I certainly won’t recommend anyone if they are overcharging so I’d like to know for future guests! I had a problem this year for one of my guests when I recommended a company called just Hughes us for airport transfers and they didn’t turn up so I certainly won’t be recommending them again! Thank you for letting me know about the towels and sheets, whenever we’ve stayed there the towels and sheets have been fine but perhaps the manager hasn’t told me that some of them are in need of replacing so I’ll make sure we have new ones for next year. Kind regards, Sharon

The villa was really lovely - better than the photos. The few very minor problems were sorted straight away and without any fuss which was brilliant. We had a really lovely holiday and would recommend it to anyone. It was amazingly relaxing and Bulgaria was lovely, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Family of 5 adults who had been to the area before. We had a really good time and found the villa clean and well equipped. The views were good and the hill top breeze was very welcoming. The nearby vineyard resort was easy to get to across the field and there you can find a restaurant and bar. Gabby was very helpful and always at hand. Ravda is a very close Bulgarian resort and definitely worth a visit. So is St Vlas, although a little more expensive. However our favourite place was Nessebar; an abundance of restaurants, bars and history. Overall a fantastic time had by all.

Thank you for your review, it's lovely to hear from guests and I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the villa and your holiday. It sounds like you saw quite a few places. If Nessabar was your favourite I would definitely recommend Sozopol if you ever return to this area. Kind regards, Sharon

A beautiful villa in a very peaceful location. Perfect for our needs. Wi-fi wasn't working when we arrived but this was very quickly fixed by the on-site property manager. Great base from which to explore the Black Sea coastline. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time and would recommend staying at this villa whether your a family or a couple. The villa was clean with excellent facilities, Sharon the owner was very helpful with any requests we had prior to arriving at the villa and when we arrived at the complex nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the gatehouse. We will definitely be booking this villa again.

Lovely villa in a very quiet location .Although we did not have young children it is a good place to sit back relax and let children play around the pool.Complex next to the villas was a very family friendly place . Used the restaurant and their pool frequently. Good instructions to get to the villa which was needed as we arrived during the night. The last part of the road / lane is a track but you are told about this . A welcome pack would have been useful to us as arriving during the night there were no shops open. This I understand wil be an option in future if required.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks here with four teenagers who were never bored! The villa is very clean with excellent support from the complex team who cleaned very thoroughly four times during our stay and the pool was cleaned almost everyday. I would agree a car is essential but the hotel complex is only a few minutes walk away for an evening meal or a drink. Minor critism would be a two ring hob is a bit small for a large party but the huge BBQ more than makes up for it, all in all a great place to stay in a lovely area with lots to do and very reasonable.

Sitting on the balcony of this apartment at sunrise watching the dolphins swim by will stay with me forever. This excellent appartment was very well appointed and the two bathrooms and air condition were most appreciated by all the family. Top prize however goes to that balcony affording you fantastic views over the bay from sunrise to sunset. Set within an immaculate complex which contained a small but appropriate number of shops bars and restaurants to cater for your daily needs. With the pools, beach, and rocky pools all on your doorstep you can easily walk between them all in your swin suits. All in all a fantastic stay and one last mention of those balcony views. Out of this world.
