This lovely apartment is right in the heart of the historical centre of Sorrento. We could easily walk everywhere and our host met us on arrival and gave us lots of helpful information. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and one of the bedrooms had a lovely balcony. There is a small supermarket and greengrocer in the block so shopping for food is easy and there are many restaurants and bars nearby. We would definitely recommend this property.Read more
The apartment has a wonderful location with a wonderful terrace and views of Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Sorrento. The only downside is in the bathroom the hip bath without shower curtain. Here is the whole bathroom under water when you take a shower. Also desirable would be a coffee maker or at least a coffee filter. But despite everything: we would come back ;-)))Read more
Just stayed for 10 days. Great place to stay. We used it as one couple so had 2 double bedrooms, we like the space. All kitted out with kitchen and household utensils that anyone would need. Location is fab, upstairs from a mini market which had just about everything. Turn 2 corners and you are at the seaside area. True, as other reviewers stated, there are costs that are not shown on XXX, this could ideally be addressed for future. There was a 'local tax' and a final cleaning bill, plus cost of air con, linen and towels. Also need to give 200 euro deposit as a deposit in case of damages. Got it back at the end of the holiday though. The owners were really helpful, lots of maps, bus and train timetables etc. It is at the heart of all the old style narrow streets of Sorrento, jam packed with restaurants and shops, and therefore really picturesque. Train/bus nearby, for Pompeii, Amalfi etc. When arriving, you need to find via dell'Academia (the street), then it is next to the 'XX Bistro and above a minimarket, so at 11 pm at night we were slightly lost. Owner was there though, waiting for us. They will get you some groceries in too, if you are arriving late. We pre ordered some basics. Highly recommended.Read more
My partner, Mom & I stayed at Angelina House in Sorrento for 4 nights. The place is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. upon arrival we were met by xxx, who showed us into the apartment. xxx was wonderful. Gave us a magazine with transportation schedules, etc. And tips regarding what to do during our stay. The unit is on the 1st floor (so up some stairs. But there was a small elevator for luggage.) The apartment is an easy walk to sites, shopping, the sea, and restaurants. 2 nearby restaurants we really enjoyed: xxx & xxx. We would definitely stay at Angelina House again!Read more

The view from the terrace at this property was the reason we booked it and we were not disappointed. The terrace is huge and the view is fabulous. The property is close to everything you would need (train/bus/supermarke/cafes/restaurants) but is very quiet which was brilliant. Our children normally wake up early on holiday but they slept well because it was so quiet and the shutters kept it dark. We initially could not get access to the wifi, the owner who lives in the apartment below this apartment was extremely helpful and we worked out where to sit in the flat in order to catch the signal which was perfect. The only negative point i found and i think it is a comment on Italy generally rather than this apartment was that lots of people smoke in Italy, as a result in the evenings the flat did smell of smoke from the other flats. Luckily there was a sliding partition door between the dining room and the bedrooms which we found kept the bedrooms less smoky in the evening which was important to us. The kitchen is tiny but it served us well and there is a takeaway pizza place which is excellent called Jhonny's pizza a short walk away if your budget can't stretch to eating out every night. We had a really good holiday, we relaxed in Sorrento and we took trips on the train to Pompeii and Herculaneum. A great base.Read more
