The area is perfect to take a wine cellar tour and enjoy delicacies surrounded by vineyards. We also recommend the tour of the Sabaudi castles (the castle of Grinzate Cavour 32 km; the castle of Serralunga d'Alba 35 km). You can also visit the beautiful hamlet of Barolo (25 km), Dogliani (25 km), Alba (38 km) - the capital of white truffles, where an International Wine and Truffle Fair is held in October -, and Bra (32 km), famous for its cheese production. Trekking and cycling tours near Monforte (23 km) allow you to discover different wine routes. An example of this is the Bar to Bar route: 124 Km from Barbaresco to Barolo through vineyards on a mountain bike with 7 stages that will show the history, culture and typical dishes of the Langhe.
