From here you can explore both Tuscany and Liguria! Plan excursions to Carrara with its spectacular white marble quarries, to the small hamlets of the Apuan Alps, to Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta, where every summer numerous art and photography exhibitions take place. In Forte dei Marmi, with its beautiful stores and boutiques, shopping is a must! Also take the opportunity to visit the Cinque Terre National Park, with its trails, castles and five, well-preserved, picturesque hamlets, each with unique features: Monterosso the oldest, Vernazza the most beautiful, Corniglia the higher, Manarola the largest and Riomaggiore, from which the famous ?Via dell?Amore? winds its way into the hills. Visit the delightful fishing village of Porto Venere, located at one end of the Golfo dei Poeti, and its beautiful Cathedral of San Pietro, built directly over the sea. Sports fans can enjoy horseback riding (5 km), tennis (6.5 km) and golf (16 km) in the area, otherwise you can relax at the thermal springs in the area. The landlord from whom you can buy olive oil, wine and honey, from his own production, will also be happy to give you information about sea fishing (7 km). Attention: Access to the house via 1 km of bumpy gravel road, which is not suitable for sports cars and should be driven with caution.
