Nice holiday home in a hilly position, 4 km from Belluno, with splendid views of the Belluno Dolomites, Belluno and Valbelluna. The house, an old renovated barn which combines tradition and modern design, is on two floors connected by an external staircase. The accommodation is ideal for for couples for a romantic holiday or for families who love to be surrounded by a green space in which children can play freely. From Belluno, where you can admire a beautiful old town, you can proceed to Feltre (26 km), a walled city that climbs up the hill dominated by the castle, up to the main Venetian cities: Treviso (76 km) with the beautiful facades of the frescoed buildings; Venice (100 km) unique in the world; Vicenza (110 km) with its Palladian architecture ...Of particular historical and artistic interest are also the smaller towns nearby, all surrounded by the marvelous natural setting of the mountains: Mel (15 km), Agordo (32 km), Cortina d'Ampezzo (70 km), Vittorio Veneto (35 km), Bassano del Grappa (70 km). Do not miss to visit the beautiful Venetian Villas built between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. For sports lovers: in summer, Mount Nevegal is the ideal place to practice mountain biking and downhill and there are numerous initiatives for children (adventure park, riding school, outdoor playground). The Belluno Dolomites Park is crossed by the High paths of the Dolomites n. 1 and n. 2 and a network of more than 200 km CAI paths. Numerous cycle paths and endless roads climbing the mountains make it an ideal destination for cycle tourism. In summer, Lake Santa Croce (20 km) is the realm of water sports (sailing, wind surfing and kitesurfing), in the vicinity you can also practice golf. Winter sports enthusiasts can choose between the Ice Arena at Feltre (30 km) and numerous ski slopes; the nearest ski and cross-country skiing area is Mount Nevegal (10 km) which offers slopes of all difficulty levels and cross-country trails. Within less than 100 km, you can reach also reach slopes for levels - Falcade area - San Pellegrino Pass (66 km) - which offers some of the most beautiful slopes of the Dolomiti Superski; Cortina d'Ampezzo (70 km) with 130 km of slopes. Not to forget the rich food and wine that you can enjoy not only in restaurants and trattorias but also during festivals dedicated to local products.

When do I receive directions to the villa and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Please note that the agent provides us with the GPS co-ordinates in the travel directions and we communicate these to you; you should contact the property manager if these are unclear.
Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
