The entrance to this semi-detached house is located in the porch. It leads to the spacious hall which has a fireplace and an adjoining store room. A passage located on the same floor connects the living room and the dining room, which in turn leads to the kitchen with a pellet stove. On the floor below, there is a bathroom with a tub and a bedroom with en suite shower room. Both floors are wheelchair accessible. The shower in this room is equipped with a folding seat and the toilet has grab rails. However, the bed is not adapted to suit the needs of the disabled. The original wooden staircase at the entrance leads up to the upper floor which houses the third bathroom and three more bedrooms. In front of the house there is a small meadow with wooden benches. Müllenborn is located in a charming valley between the market towns of Prüm and Gerolstein in the volcanic Eifel region. This area, which has many forests, rocks, streams, mineral springs and proud castles, offers a beautiful hiking area and many opportunities for swimming, climbing, cycling, mountain biking and fishing. The Gerolsteiner water is well known. Nearby there are also wildlife parks and interesting geological attractions, such as the Birresborn caves, the Trockenmaar and a cold-water geyser (Wallender Born) in Wallenborn. Excellent shopping centres are available in Gerolstein, whose train station is just 5 km away. Bus service is also available every 2 hours

  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself.
