This well-furnished apartment is situated just a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches of Ruegen. It offers luxury and relaxation in every season. One of the biggest listed structures in Germany has been transformed into a true holiday paradise - modern apartments with sophisticated design directly on the 7 km long dream beach Prorer Wiek. The chalk cliffs and the crystal clear water give the beach an almost Caribbean flair. Along the beach promenade there are several cafes, restaurants and small shops for daily needs. So you can not only enjoy a glass of wine and the fresh sea air on your private balcony, but also visit the in-house Prora Solitaire bar for a cup of cappuccino in the morning or a sundowner after a great day on the beach. The Garden Suite is a particularly bright and sunny apartment, because it is located in one of the wings of the listed building. It is one of the few apartments in the complex with windows on three sides. Therefore, you can enjoy an almost panoramic view of the island of Ruegen. The apartment is situated on the 5th floor (lift available). So you can admire the fantastic views over the countryside, the forest and heath land on the north, west and south sides of the apartment. The large living room with a modern kitchen is particularly bright and sunlit. On cooler evenings you can relax in front of the crackling fire. The beautiful beach and the park-like grounds of Prora Solitaire are right outside the door. The bedroom has a modern design and is equipped with high quality box spring beds and an open bath with a shower. In addition there is also a separate guest toilet. This holiday apartment in Prora is particularly large and spacious. It is also well suited for guests with limited mobility - there are no thresholds between the rooms, the beds are electrically adjustable, the doors are 0.90 m wide and in the bathroom you will find appropriate grab rails. The apartment is wheelchair accessible, but not completely handicap friendly. In front of the holiday homes in Prora Solitaire there is a park-like garden with an outdoor swimming pool (from July 2016), a barbecue, lounge areas and native flora and fauna. The garden is reserved exclusively for the guests of Prora Solitaire. A small pine forest shields it from the beach and ensures privacy. Prora Solitaire is a haven of peace for the body, mind and soul, all year round! A large in-house spa area will be available for the guests of Prora Solitaire from September 2016 onwards. So you can visit the spa without having to leave the building. In addition to the large indoor pool with a children's pool, the property also has a variety of saunas, relaxation areas and a gym with appropriate equipment. You can book massages and other treatments at the reception. You can park your car in the private garage for a fee. Washers and dryers are available in a separate room on the second floor, which the guests can use for a fee. Highchairs and cots can be rented at the reception. Parts of the complex are still under construction or renovation. So, until the fall of 2016 guests may face some inconvenience due to the construction activities in the neighbouring buildings. The exterior and the wellness area are not yet completed. A bakery, a cafe / bar and a pizzeria are already open. More restaurants, bars and shops are expected to commence operations during the year 2016.

This beautiful apartment was originally built in 1936 and refurbished in 2015. The agent has rated it as a five star property so it is one of their best apartments - tastefully furnished and fully equipped. It is also great value for money. This apartment has use of a shared pool; it is also only 5km from Binz. It is set in a very convenient location, just 80 metres away from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant only 150 metres away.

When do I receive directions to the apartment and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
