Nestled amidst gentle countryside, between Pays Picard and the Country of Caux, this elegant home is a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday. It boasts a beautiful indoor swimming pool, a cosy living area, bright rooms and well-appointed bedrooms. You will also benefit from a range of outdoor facilities such as a table tennis table and barbecue facilities. The house is fantastically positioned for guests wishing to visit the Alabaster Coast and the most famous seaside resorts of the Picardy Coast. Located in Pays Neufchâtelois, in the centre of a territory rich in heritage, the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and hiking to some of the impressive castles and churches in the area. You may also wish to example some of the delicious local cheese - particularly Neufchâtel. For anglers Plan d'eau des Aulnes is particularly popular.

This solidly constructed villa was originally built in 1970 and refurbished in 2016. The agent has rated it as a four star property so it is a well-equipped villa with above average furnishings. It is also great value for money. This villa has a private pool and is located in Villers-sous-Foucarmont, 36km from Le Treport. It is set in a good location: there is a restaurant 1km away.

The villa has free wireless internet. You can also park on-site at no extra charge. The villa is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. It also has a barbecue, a garden and some garden furniture outside.

There is a golf course nearby.

The property exceeded our expectations regarding facilities, as there was even more equipment available than featured, e.g. trampoline, table football. The indoor pool was a great hit, as was the pool table. And you know how there's nothing more annoying than equipment with bits missing? No such thing here; enough pool cues to go round, table tennis bats and balls etc.
Mention should also be made of the full shutters available on all downstairs windows - very useful during summer months.
Two very, very minor points: we could find no written instructions about rubbish disposal and recycling e.g. what day is bin day. Madame and Monsieur may very well have advised us verbally upon arrival, but my French was not up to understanding everything they said.
And to help those that follow - use the water filter as the water is harder than I've encountered in the UK.

Overall? A very memorable holiday in a very agreeable place.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys.   • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
