This is a brand new two bedroom apartment on the first floor, in a chalet of just seven apartments, built in the traditional Savoyard style. The apartment has under floor heating throughout and a 23 metre balcony with magnificent views looking south to the local ski slopes just 300 metres away.
Features an open plan living area with a well equipped contemporary kitchen. The very comfortable lounge features two large sofas and chair - the triple sofa can be folded out to make a king size double bed, and the solid oak extending dining table can seat six. For a relaxing night in there is satellite TV with both English and French stations.
There are two large twin bedrooms with built in wardrobes and single beds, which can be moved together.
The balcony can be accessed from the lounge and one of the bedrooms. The second bedroom has it's own private balcony.
The main bathroom features a large deep bath, separate shower and wash basin. A second bathroom features a contemporary shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail, there is also a separate WC.

There is a garage located within the building for your car, with ideal storage of your ski equipment. For your use there are two boot dryers located on the rear wall.
The village offers the rustic charm expected of French mountain life, and with an ESF ski school, ski hire shops, supermarket, bars and traditional restaurants La Chapelle is perfectly suited to both beginners and experienced skiers.

Ideally situated for access to the main Portes Du Soleil ski runs and is only 90 mins from Geneva airport.

The Region

Stretching south from Lake Geneva (or Lac Léman), the largest lake in Western Europe, to Mont Blanc, the largest mountain in Europe, Haute Savoie is one of the most frequented destinations of the skiing fraternity. The département has some of the most sought after and chic ski resorts, from Chamonix, which hosted the first ever Winter Olympics in 1924, with its Alpine Museum at the foot of the towering splendour of Mont Blanc, to the sophisticated station of Megève – the first ever winter sports resort, created in 1921. Annecy, capital of the département, sits on the northern shores of its lake, reputed to be the cleanest natural lake in Europe, as well as the most romantic in France. Snow shoe trails can be found in every nook and cranny of this region, this ski resort offers a rustic atmosphere for families and groups wanting to enjoy a fabulous skiing break. The area is also host to the world renowned Grenoble Jazz festival which attracts some of the best jazz musicians for over thirty years, this music festival should be experienced by anyone travelling to the Alps during Mid March - Early April!

Over the summer there is plenty to do whether you want try your hand at river fishing, ride the Portes du Soleil mountain bike trails, or simply find a nice sunny spot to enjoy the sunshine. For those who enjoy the countryside there are many hiking routes and an abundance of wildlife and there is a deer sanctuary in the village. With Lake Geneva ten miles away you can
enjoy a boat tour of one of the largest lakes on the continent as well as other water sports including wind surfing and kayaking.
Or for a more relaxed approach you can sit back as the Mont Blanc Express takes you through majestic mountain crags and enchanting forests to deliver an unforgettable sightseeing experience.
