Location & Tala
Lemon Tree Villa is situated in the breathtaking hills of Tala, in Paphos. Its elevated position ensures sea views can be enjoyed from the landscaped garden, balconies, and from most rooms of the house. The surrounding area
(although recently developed and improved) still retains a very Mediterranean feel and charm with plentiful greenery creating a most serene atmosphere.
Only a 10 minute drive from the Blue Flag beaches at Coral Bay and from the centre of Paphos, Tala is a popular location for visitors, ex-pat residents and holiday home owners alike.
Looking down on the main town of Paphos (out to the Med), and often labelled the Beverley Hills of Cyprus, Tala offers a peaceful location with a good village heart including a fine selection of bars, restaurants, traditional taverns and other eateries. Tala is home to 'The Gallery' which is a very tranquil and upmarket bistro bar, in a private and leafy setting.
Standing above Tala Village, a 5 minute drive way is the imposing 12th Century Monastery of Saint Neophytos. Watersports, diving and horse riding are all within a 15 minute drive. Paphos airport is a 25 minute drive with
Larnaca airport under 2 hours away. Car hire is recommended to make the most of your stay.
The village is conveniently situated for Golf at Tsada, with further golf courses at Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills less than 30 minutes away by car. The villa provides an ideal location for wedding parties and honeymooners with the many weddings that take place in Cyprus (the island of
love), and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, relaxed lifestyle within close proximity of modern amenities.
Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the old town
of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCOs World Cultural Heritage list.
Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.

We came to the villa on May 10th for out honeymoon. Had a very late arrival so asked for Villarenters to arrange transport from Paphos airport. This worked brilliantly. Andy the taxi driver was there on arrival, what a great chap. He even had is own mini-bar in the cab and offered us drinks as a welcome to Cyprus!!! We arrived in the small hours and let ourselves in after locating the key in the keysafe (helped of course by Andy). Andy left, then disaster.....we went out to look at the lovely flood lit pool and locked outselves out. Be warned, when the front door closes there's no getting back in. Everything locked inside except my mobile phone and (you've guessed it) Andys card. We contacted him and he in turn managed to find a number for 'Denise' who held a spare key. She came out to let us in at 2am. Denise was so friendly and this wasn't a problem. Also Andy said if we couldn't get hold of her we could have his spare room. What a taxi driver!! Denise explained that the key issue is normally mentioned upon arrival but as we were out of hours she was intending to call to see us the following morning.
A minor hickup to start the holiday. Everything else was perfect. Villa is spacious, well equiped and in a fantastic location. Lovely and quiet but only a short walk to the village square for bars and restaurants. Be warned..if you have cocktails or spirits at Marios the measures are very generous. Great fun just sitting watching people trying to walk straight as they leave.
Bathrooms are a little tired in places but who cares? The talking point is the lovely gardens and pool. Pool cleaner came very early morning on a couple of occasions and gardeners had a whirlwind visit on one day but kept well out of our way.
I-phone docking station is for the 4 not 5. Again not a problem as there is a full sky TV package including music and sports.
Villa was quite dusty in places but I think that was more to do with the early recent weather.
A very relaxing holiday. And we're already talking about coming back next year. 100% recommended. Steve & Caroline

Fantastic villa in a beautiful location, only 5-10 min walk to Tala Square which had a few restaurants/bars. Tala is very quiet but I would definitely recommend it if you are after a quiet, relaxing holiday .
We were well looked after and any questions we had were answered immediately.
The villa was very clean and had everything we needed, the pool is really good for a villa of this size.
We had a great week and will definitely return in the future!

We had an amazing holiday at this Villa. I would recommend that you hire a car throughout your stay as taxis can be expensive and you do have to travel to experience the best of paphos. If you take a walk to the little town then go and visit bubble and squeak for drink and food very friendly staff and reasonably prices.
I would revisit this villa as we were well looked after!!

We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at Lemon Tree Villa and are happy to give it a very high recommendation. Steven, the letting agent was very, very helpful and Louise and her husband really take care of the property. Lemon Tree is probably the best equipped villa we have stayed in and that makes life so much easier. We had so much enjoyment from the excellent pool and the very well lit outside areas. We loved the location and the views down to the sea. Tala Square is a joy for a drink or a meal and if you want the tourist places like Papos or Coral Bay, they are in easy reach by car. If you crave Sky TV or the internet then Lemon Tree is not for you but our family loved it and hope to return.

Lemon Tree Villa is a true 5 star villa in a wonderful location and position. The village of Tala is upmarket and has good amenities. The village square was only a 10 minute walk and the nearby bakery sold the most delicious breads and pastries as well as other conveniences. The booking process was easy an the agent was very helpful with a fast response to any of our questions. We would recommend the villa to anyone. Thanks again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cyprus at Lemon Tree Villa - we really didnt want to leave! I would like to add that the driver you sent for us at the airport, Andreas, was the most wonderful welcoming man. He helped us throughout our holiday and was charming throughout. I have kept his number and will definitely use him again when we return to Cyprus. Lemon Tree Villa was beautiful. It was clean and spacious and just what we wanted. Although not in the centre of a big town it was only a short walk to Tala Square where we could find most things and again only a 10 minute taxi ride to Coral Beach which was idyllic. The local shops and restaurants on Tala Square were excellent. Everything was clear and as I said the driver you sent was fabulous. We only had to ring the local manager a couple of times and each time they were pleasant and courteous.

"The villa was of a high standard, and would definitely recommend to others. The location was very good for the local bars and restaurants, but a short drive to the larger resorts. We would recommend all the local bars and restaurants. Very satisfied with the service provided. The management for the Villa was excellent, the cleanliness of the pool and villa were second to none. Fully enjoyed our stay in a lovely villa, and resort. We would definitely consider visiting Cyprus again

"Property was excellent. Air conditioning was a big bonus, and wi-fi was much appreciated. Super pool too. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. Always felt safe and secure. About 10 minutes walk from Tala square. It was all uphill but easily managable for all but the elderly and infirm. Drive to major supermarkets (Coral Bay or Paphos) as you would expect but many smaller ones nearby. Small one in Tala square is surprisingly well stocked. Tala is a quiet village but it has several bars/restaurants and is in a great position for access by car to Paphos, Coral Bay, Peyia and all other west coast villages. Highly recommend several restaurants. Yialos and Andria in Coral Bay, The Last Castle past Ayios Georgios, Vatouthkia on the road to the Adonis Baths and Yiannis Tevarna in Kathikas. All bars and restaurants in Tala are good too. The Cliff Club is always guaranteed a breeze which is most welcome in July/August. This is our 4th year renting with you. Happy as usual."
