This pretty and modern, two-storey apartment is situated in the small village of Bibali, near the town of Buje. It is equipped with modern and comfortable furniture. This holiday home is perfect for those who not only want to rest and relax, but also seek something special while on holiday. The apartment is located in a villa along with four other apartments, all of which are rented out. The bedrooms are on the ground floor, while the kitchen, living and dining room are on the first floor. A refreshing outdoor pool is located in the shared garden. The lush green surroundings and natural settings give you a feel of being right in the middle of the mountains. The beautiful beaches of Umag are only a 20-minute drive away. The town of Buje is located 10 km from the Adriatic Sea, in the northern part of Istria. It is visible from a distance, being located on a hill. The place also offers a beautiful view. The area is thick with olive groves and vineyards. You will have an opportunity to pick your own wild asparagus in spring. The traditional Istrian dish 'fritaja' (omelette) is prepared with the native asparagus and eggs. Agri-tourism is recommended for those who do not prefer international cuisine. Fully traditional meals are served by establishments using local produce. Even a few years ago, only a few die-hard adventurers chose to spend their holiday in the green hills of the hinterland instead of a regular seaside holiday. But this is changing rapidly. The charm that radiates from the hinterland, known widely as the Croatian Tuscany, has been attracting increasing numbers of tourists to these hilly regions. The hilly landscape, elegant cypresses, quaint stone houses and ancient hilltop villages cast a magical spell over the visitors.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
