Legend has it that Antigua has 365 beaches - one for each day of the year. However, if you've only got 5 days on this idyllic Caribbean island, then here's a beautiful beach for each day of your holiday.
1. Galley Bay
Get on down to Galley Bay, for its palm-fringed beaches and wide-set, powder white sands. Locals and visitors are particularly fond of this beach for its spectacular sunsets.
2. Dickenson Bay
Dickenson Beach is a lovely mile-long sandy stretch. It's best summed up by an air-cool island breeze and its serene waves. There's also a beach phone box for any moments of homesickness!
3. Fort James
Fort James is a well-positioned local beach, just a short drive from the capital of St John. Listen out for traditional Caribbean music on your day trip here...
4. Half Moon Bay
Staying on-brand at all times, Half Moon Bay is home to a breathtaking white, fine-sand crescent beach.
5. Pigeon Point Beach
Pigeon Beach is a popular beach with remarkably clean and shallow waters, perfect for paddling with small children. Visitors will also be able to see lots of pretty boats in the harbour.
