An Acail Holiday Cottage

An Acail, originally an agricultural barn, was converted in 2014. There are three bedrooms, two shower rooms and one bathroom with spa bath. The cottage sleeps six, however,out of season, we offer discounted prices for two guests (sharing master bedroom, on the ground floor). Please send inquiry for a price quote.

The cottage is on the outskirts of Stornoway town centre and is perfectly located for exploring the Islands of Lewis and Harris. The Islands boast beautiful beaches, many historical sites, and there are numerous walks; ranging from simple strolls to more adventurous rambles and hill climbs.

The accommodation is on two levels. The lower level has the master bedroom and boasts a super-king size bed to give you a great nights sleep. The spacious, en-suite, bathroom has a water fall power shower with jets, a spa bath and a recently added TV (2020) with blue tooth speakers. Just the thing for relaxing after a day exploring the islands, fishing or walking in the hills.

We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. There is an open plan living area with comfortable seating for 6 There is also an internet enabled T.V. and free WiFi access. This open plan area has a large bay window and French doors to access a patio area with picnic table. There is also an outbuilding, which houses the laundry facilities and has room for storing bikes, drying wet suits, climbing gear, boots and so on.

There are two twin bedrooms up the stairs and these have en-suite shower rooms.

All heating is included in the cost of your stay. All bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided at no extra cost. There is a travel cot and a high chair available on request.
Currently, electric vehicle charging is not allowed at the cottage.
