Your stay in this beautifully appointed apartment will be one to remember. You will be met and shown around by our local agent and, as you leave its air-conditioned luxury, you can wander amongst tropical gardens and crystal pools or along the private path to one of Marbella's finest beaches. Once on the beach, you can dine in style at one of the charming restaurants, bars and cafes whilst watching the waves lap against the sandy shore. The children can play safely in the pool or in the well-equipped
playground, both or which are in secure areas.
With underground car-parking, 24 hour security and all modern comforts, Alicate Playa sets the standard for the perfect holiday location.
Alicate Playa is only 30 mins from Malaga airport, lying 5Km east of Marbella. It has superb golf courses just minutes away. It is the perfect base for family or golf holidays. Everything you need, whether, shops, restaurants, bars, sports facilities etc. are all close by.
The villa alongside Alicate Playa belongs to Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, so if you are after a beach location that appeals to film stars, you've found it ! But whether you want to chill out on its fabulous beach, explore its fantastic coast, towns or inland scenery or play some of the finest golf courses in Europe, Alicate Playa is an ideal place to base yourself.
This apartment is built to the highest standards with full air-conditioning, under-floor heating in both marbled bathrooms, electrically-operated shutters, marble flooring and patios to the front (pool-side) and rear (garden-side).
To do it full justice, it has been furnished it an equally high standard with superb leather sofas, a leather-framed double bed, satellite TV, DVD and rugs, pictures and decorations that are designed to make you feel completely at home. You even have a dedicated parking place in the underground carpark.
The outside pool is set in a sub-tropical style garden. There are four similar pools on the development which are all available for use by guests. There is a private walkway to the lovely beach, which is lined with excellent restaurants and bars.

The Costa del Sol region
Costa del Sol has everything as a holiday destination - beaches, mountains, history, culture, sports and leisure activities of every description. Cruise along its superb motorway system and you can be in Malaga or Gibraltar in very little time. Go inland and you can visit the splendid cliff-top town of Ronda, the quintessentially Spanish pueblos blancos (white villages) or further on to the historic Moorish cities of Grenada, Cordoba or Seville. And then, only minutes away by car, you have the city of Marbella with its unique fusion of Spanish culture and cosmopolitan glitz.
In fact, there is so much to do in Andalucía, that one of your problems will be deciding what to do during your stay.

Marbella is a jewel in the Costa del Sol. A long time favourite of the rich and famous, it has always had a reputation for style and culture, with fiestas and activities of all description taking place all year round.
El Rosario has a quiet Spanish feel, but is close enough to the buzz of Marbella to prevent you ever getting bored.

We stayed at Alicate Playa a week after Easter 2014 - this is a perfect apartment (exactly as described) in a superb location well appointed with all mod-cons overlooking beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Its a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach, and its close to beachside restaurants which serve good quality food at reasonable prices. The weather was fantastic throughout. The apartment was clean, with every facility you could wish for. It was on the ground floor and within metres of a beautiful pool. There were plenty of sunbeds available and the pool was never busy.
Marbella is a good base for exploring the many sights of the area.
e.g. Gibraltar, Ronda, Mihas, Sevilla, however a car would be essential.
All in all we had a great holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment- great value for money and highly recommended. Thanks also for all the good advice re. places to eat, shop, etc.

A really lovely extremely well equipped apartment.Perfect tranquil location but with all Marbellas attractions within easy reach. However if you dont want to venture out to far there are two exceptionally good restaurants right on the sea front with picture perfect views both within easy walking distance of the apartment.
Very well presented & spacious apartment, fantastic location. The complex was well maintained with a great pool & very close to the beach, supermarket & great restaurants. We are regulars to this area & the apartment was superb.
It was very nice, and I will recommend it to everyone. We brought our 14months old son and he loved it as well. Short stroll og nightmarket, beach and various restaurants.
We loved our stay here.
The property was exactly as described. We were very comfortable during our stay and could not have asked for anything more. The ground floor location gave us piece of mind as we have two young children. A short walk to the beach as well as two excellent restaurants. Shops and further restaurants are a short drive away. I would definitely recommend this apartment and it is likely we will be visiting again.
