Villa Zefarina

Escape to your oasis, where the trees are lush, and the private pool calls your name. Villa Zefarina is a traditional house with unique architecture, surrounded by beautiful trees. It made by the main house and a lovely cottage, and it can accommodate twelve guests.

The house once was a cow shelter, and today is a comfortable and cosy country house. Its warm but light decoration and the magnificent natural environment in which it is located, makes it an idyllic place, with its spectacular views of the Sierra de Gredos.

It consists of three double rooms with en-suite bathrooms; one of them has an independent entrance from the porch; living room with fireplace, television, air conditioning and fan, fully equipped open kitchen American dining room, its porch dressed, with lounge area and summer dining room with a support fridge, and comfortable hammocks hang from pillar to pillar. Outside there is a large and well-kept garden and a pool-type swimming pool.

The lovely cottage has been tastefully renovated to a very high an extraordinary equipped, beautiful and cosy interior. It has extensive private grounds, with ancient Olives grove, Cherry and different class of vegetables. It is for 2 or 4 people consisting of two double bedrooms with one bathroom, American-style kitchen, living room with fireplace, porch, garden patio with fountain, private garden and swimming pool.

Villa Zefarina is perfect for a big group wanting to get together and get away. Set in beautiful countryside, this Villa is the ideal place to escape to if you're looking for somewhere to relax and explore. Within the lot, there's plenty to keep guests entertained from jam making courses and floral arrangement to private dinners.

Location

Villa Zefarina is located in Spanish autonomous community of Extremadura, near the Sierra de Gredos, a mountain range that spans the provinces of Avila, Salamanca, Caceres, Madrid, and Toledo. It is part of the much larger Sistema Central of mountain ranges. This villa is located in the North West area, which is known as the ‘Green Spain', with plenty of rolling hills, green pastures and countryside estates. It's a beautiful space to relax, and get back to nature. Days spent hiking in the mountains and swimming in natural lakes with waterfalls.

There are lots of little villages to explore, all of which have their unique feel about them. To get a real feel for the culture, you must try the local cuisine. In this case, drink Sidra (Spanish cider) and enjoy Pulpo a la Gallega, boiled octopus with paprika, and all of the tapas you can.

There's plenty to do nearby the villa, from hiking the Route of the Emperor and horse excursions to exploring natural parks like Gredos and archery. There's also fishing, swimming, climbing, golf and quad biking.
