The small Istrian town of Groznjan is very important to culture.
Beginning in May, the village's winding streets and charming squares transform into an artistic hub as summer music academies, art, dance, and theatre schools, as well as many well-known figures from these fields, arrive.
Groznjan is referred to be a "artists' village."
You may enjoy watching a lot of street performers throughout July and August, playing everything from jazz to classical music.
The village is overflowing with cozy eateries, lovely gift shops, and art galleries. Every summer, the festival's Jazz is Back is hosted.
At least twenty additional settlements, including Krasica, and countless acres of orchards, vineyards, and olive groves surround the town, which is perched on a hilltop above the river Mirna.
The Istarska Belica olives from Groznjan are well-known.
