A traditional Mallorcan villa set in beautiful gardens, Villa Amparo is the perfect place for up to eight guests to enjoy the island. Situated between Pollensa and Alcudia, it has two of the most attractive towns in the north east within a few minutes' drive and offers a gorgeous private pool for everyone to enjoy.
A set of eight sun loungers line up poolside, adjacent to the spacious terrace with open and covered seating areas. The pool is a magnificent 10m x 5m, with easy access via Roman steps. A large barbecue is the place to start when you fancy some al fresco dining, and the well-kept lawns of the garden provide a nice space for children to play.
The villa is beautifully furnished inside, with a large lounge and dining room off the main hallway. The seating area features a fireplace and large TV with satellite channels and DVD. In addition, there is a fully fitted kitchen. Both of these rooms lead directly out to the wraparound terrace where you have another dining area.
Stairs lead up to the first floor, where the master bedroom has its own en suite bathroom and an exit to the spacious roof terrace. Also on this floor, you have two twin bedrooms which share another bathroom. Another double, also with en suite, is found on the lower level.
Villa Amparo is just 6.5km from the wonderful city of Alcudia, where you can wander through the historic centre or relax down at the harbour, perhaps taking a boat trip to another island or mainland destination. Pretty Pollensa is only 7.2km from the villa, and is well worth a visit itself. In the shadow of the Tramuntana mountains, the town is geared up for visitors with some enticing restaurants and bars, and quite a few historic attractions of its own.
Next door, Puerto de Pollenca offers you all the advantages of a coastal resort, including one of the loveliest beaches in the region – definitely one to visit during your time at Villa Amparo

Pollenca is an attractive town in northeast Mallorca, in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. With beautiful architecture to appreciate, such as the Calvari steps, the city is rich in history. Among its highlights are the ‘Pont Roma', an ancient Roman bridge, the Mare de Deu dels Angels church with its famous rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo.
The neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollenca, lies to the north and has one of the area's best beaches, with numerous bars and restaurants to explore in the vicinity. Puerto de Pollenca also offers water-sports, a water park for children, and a golf course can also be found just outside the town.
Also to the north of Pollenca is Cala Sant Vicenc, one of Mallorca's smaller resorts, and home to three beaches: Cala Molins, Cala Barques and Cala Clara. The landscape is dramatic and hilly, with rugged cliffs and rocks, and its popularity with visitors has seen it develop some excellent restaurants, tapas bars and useful amenities.
Further down the coast, Alcudia has a large marina, serving as a boarding point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. The town is considered one of the most attractive in the area, so don't miss out on seeing its historic centre, visiting the open-air market or seeing Spain's smallest Roman amphitheatre.
Many beautiful places can be found in the areas further inland, such as the Natural Park S'Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollenca is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport around 60km away.
