Hubby and I lived in London for 20 odd years and decided to give our hectic lives in the UK a break. Hubby is from Madeira, hence we decided to move to this amazing island. We decided on Canico, which we have now been living in going on 5 & half years. What we love the most is of course the weather in Madeira! Not to mention everything else like the food, the wine! and the beautiful scenery this Island has to offer as a whole. So many amazing places to see and things to do. Reis Magos beach and Cristo Rei beach are literally a few minutes from the apartment, where we often swim. We also love walking, and exploring, especially all the various Lavadas and walking trails all around the Island. We do miss London, but we love our new home here in Madeira. We absolutely love meeting different people from all walks of life & we certainly experience that in hosting, it always surprises us on how people from all over the world visit our island. I always think of how i would like to be treated when going on holiday, and therefore do the same for my guests. We just want our guests to be comfortable and have a fantastic holiday whilst holidaying in our comfortable & spacios apartment.
