This beautiful condo had it all and more for a relaxing get away to a quiet and friendly town. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The linens and towels were top of the line. The view was spectacular and everything you need for a wonderful day at the beach is there for you and your family. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival and the lovely Paulette was there to greet us and show us around. We were lucky enough to meet Jon and Nicky and they were as nice as their condo!! Highly recommend The Wicket for a relaxing place to stay

The Wicket, Barbados

Thank you Jon and Nicky! We thouroughly enjoyed staying at The Wicket. Lovely water view, and so convenient for beach trips! Just cross the street and viola....your own (.almost) private beach! Loungers were brilliant and having a cooler bag and ice packs, snorkelling gear all available were perfect touches! All the comforts of home, literally, including some spices and a few condiments. Welcome gifts were much appreciated. Fantastic beds, so comfy and cosy. Everything we needed in the very well appointed kitchen. We thouroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to return again!

The view, the cleanliness,the thoughtfulness you put in to it all, all the conveniences we could ask for. You thought of everything, and what a great location! Will definitely visit again.

A really great property in a good situation. The property has everything you could need for a great holiday. Speightstown is a nice place to wander around good choice of food great beaches close by and very safe. It's nice to see it is unspoiled by too much tourism. I would like to add the process of booking was very straightforward and Jon kept us up to date with all the information we needed.

Would definitely return and would certainly highly recommend the property for a laid back holiday.

Clean, modern and a perfect location. Steps from the beach, numerous restaurants and a great ocean view everyday from the patio. Jon and Nikki are very helpful and provided suggestions for places to shop and dine. Paulette was available when we needed her and even offered up her culinary services if we chose to eat in. (Sadly we didn't end up taking her up on that offer!) The wicket is a perfect couples retreat and is close enough to the beach that a family coming down here would feel right at home as well. Walking distance to all restaurants in speightstown as well as the grocery store and the fresh fruit vendors. Would recommend a car if you have any aspirations to really explore the island. The drive to the east coast across the island as opposed to the highway is quite an adventure! Although we didn't use the kitchen to its fullest potential...the appliances, cutlery and dinnerware were in great shape and made it feel like home. This was our first time to barbados and we would definitely like to come back again. Would stay at The Wicket again hands down and would recommend to anyone planning a barbados vacation!
