Marathon is a great place to go for boating, fishing, or some family island fun. Charter boats leave our many marinas throughout the day to bring you out so you can enjoy the ocean, and land the big catch you have been seeing in your dreams. The islands of Marathon are also home to many rare and endangered species of sea turtles and dolphins! You may be lucky enough to catch sight of a some out in the beautiful island waters. The Turtle Hospital, dedicated to rehabilitating injured sea turtles, offers guided educational tours of its facilities and rehabilitation area. The Dolphin Research Center is home to many dolphins and sea lions, has a playground area with learning grids to try about sea life and a splash area too!
