Villa Cristina Tuscany

We have been at Villa Cristina for the second time, because we love this beautiful villa on the top of a hill near Arezzo. In the evening you can see the sunset and the beauty of this old town Arezzo. We relaxed by the pool and spent most of our day in the gazebo. Everything is in excellent shape, the gardener and the cleaning stuff are doing a perfect job.

We had an extraordinary 2 week stay with extended family at Villa Cristina. The estate has incredible facilities and boasts wonderful views of the city of Arezzo. The two sisters that own and manage this property are amazing and were on call if we needed the tiniest thing or piece of advice, but never intrusive. It was pure joy for all to be able to stay in this wonderful villa. Every room is spacious and comfortable and has its own private bathroom and the place was meticulous and cleaned every day. The grounds and pool area are magnificent and the facilities were beyond expectations. No words can describe what a welcoming and incredible place this is. We very much look forward to visiting Villa Cristina again.

Villa Cristina sits above Arezzo, Italy. The view is simply stunning! The villa has everything one needs for a perfect, very comfortable vacation. The owners Stella &amp; Federica do everything they can to make the stay at Villa Cristina perfect. We had an amazing time and we will return. I would highly recommend this villa...you will not be disappointed!!

If you have ever dreamed of living in Tuscany, Villa Cristina, the family home of sisters Stella and Federica, brings the fantasy to reality. First things first. Overlooking Arezzo, a charming town off the beaten tourist track, the location is optimal. But it is the house, its grounds, and the gracious attention of the hosts that make the experience so very special. The generous villa is large enough for five couples to have their privacy, yet offers plenty of places to share and delight in company: living and dining rooms, and, of course, a fully fit-out kitchen. There are books galore, in Italian and English, a billiards table, and a pinball machine. With a large lawn, several patios, a hammock, plus playhouse and slide for kids, the glorious setting offers plenty of options for picnics. More outdoor entertainment comes in the forms of a hot tub and truly swimmable pool. I’m saving the best for last. That is the gazebo where we progressed from aperitivi to meals watching the sun set and give rise to the twinkling lights of the city below. Speriamo tornare presto. Edie and Alan Lazowick

Words cannot even begin to express our gratitude towards Stella and Federica. Their service was that of a 5 star hotel. They are absolutely remarkable in every sense! Our only regret is not having more time to spend with them &amp; at Villa Cristina. My husband &amp; I bid on Villa Cristina at an auction benefiting Children’s Hospital in Orange County. We traveled with our two families from California and Arizona, including our parents, and our siblings along with their husbands and wives and a small child. Everyone was comfortable in the sleeping arrangements with bathrooms in every room. The kitchen and eating areas where wonderful, as well as, the sprawling grounds. We spent most of our time in the Gazebo overlooking the stunning views and pool. It was an incredible space where we enjoyed chef catered dinners (highly recommend- we even added one because it was that incredible!), home-cooked pizza nights, using their pizza oven, and enjoying recounting our daily adventures throughout Tuscany! Stella and Federica helped us put together an incredible itinerary for the week, answered all our questions, helped arrange travel for tours, a wonderful cooking class at the Villa, pick ups…you name it! We did day-trips to nearby wineries, hilltop towns, and spent all our evenings with dinners at the house. We never wanted to leave and this trip was truly special because of Villa Cristina! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We had the best time ever at Villa Cristina! From the first day on the hosts were very nice and helpful, they greeted us with a welcome drink and some food, gave us advices about what to do and to see in the region and we kept in touch via text messages during the entire stay. Thanks again for everything! :) The villa is just amazing! The view, the gazebo, the jacuzzi - unbelievable! We made our own pizza in the pizza oven and had a fantastic barbecue - absolutely recommendable! We will definetly come back! With best regards from Germany Sandra and friends :)

In realtà ha prenotato Stefano, un mio amico soprannominato Alpituor da noi amici per la sua grande capacità organizzativa per le vacanze, ma la recenzione voglio farla io perchè questo posto mi manca e voglio tornarci presto. Ragazzi è un paradiso e la villa è meravigliosa. Dalla collina si domina l'intera città di Arezzo, il panorama è eccezionale. E' quel posto dove sogni di vivere tutto l'anno come se fossi un commenda, ma di quelli seri, che dal suo villone controlla tutto tornando la sera a casa e fumandosi il sigaro osservando il panorama coperto dal suo giaccone di Montone. Nella villa c'è tutto, non manca niente: noi eravamo in 9, 6 adulti e 3 bambine ma lo spazio è talmente ben organizzato che sinceramente ci sarebbero entrate altre 6 persone. Non manca nulla: le stanze tutte con bagno sono grandi, nella cucina c'è qualsiasi cosa anche l'affettatrice! Ma la chicca è la sala giochi con tavolo da biliardo, calcio balilla e flipper (che per inciso funziona senza monete o gettoni quindi partite illimitate!!!). Non è stato possibile usare la piscina, per ovvie ragioni climatiche, e per questo motivo ci siam dovuti arrangiare con una fantastica JACUZZI talmente grande che può ospitare 6 persone dove l'acqua è sempre calda (38°), le bimbe sono impazzite, veramente anche Stefano (Alpituor per gli amici) che praticamente ci dormiva...... Fuori nel giardino c'è un gazebo chiuso che è grande quanto il mio appartamento con un'altra cucina, un camino e un forno a legna, la sera mangiavamo sempre li osservando il panorama mozzafiato. E abbiamo mangiato tanto : al nostro arrivo, su nostra richiesta ci hanno fatto trovare la miglior chianina della zona, che a mio avviso è stata tra le migliori che io abbia mai mangiato, per i giorni successivi avevamo un cuoco che la sera cene fantastiche con menù per bambini dedicato. Tutto questo è stato possibile grazie all'opsitalità e alla cura di tutti i dettagli della nostra permanenza in villa da parte dei titolari che non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla, persone splendide: si assicuravano che la cena venisse servita all'orario stabilito apparecchiando personalmente il tavolo, erano attenti alle pulizie della villa e alla manutezione della Jacuzzi dove monitoravano la giusta quantità di cloro visto che Stefano praticamente ci passava tutta la giornata, e controllavano che non ci mancasse nulla, in particolare la legna visto che faceva freddo ed io accendevo fuoco nei caminetti come se non ci fosse un domani :-). Io ci torno con o senza Stefano Alpituor. Ps: io mi immagino con il giaccone di montone
