Absolutely fantastic! Everything we wanted and needed was there, and the villa was just the highest quality! 5 minute walk from the local shop, and friendly pizzeria. A great view of Portomao, where you can book brilliant boat tours - we recommend the cave tour, and the river tour to Silvez. Brilliant weather with sun loungers to relax at the pool by, which was also top notch. Just thank you for allowing us to spend a great week in this beautiful villa. We would definitely return.

Our stay at Tres Oliveiras was outstanding. Upon arrival we were told about the key safe this was easy to use and caused no issues. We entered to a spotless villa fully prepared for us which was amazing. The villa is huge and I don't feel the images do this justice, we are Londoners so our perception of space is maybe a little different to someone from the countryside! But we were blown away by the vast space inside and out! 
The facilities in the villa are excellent and we happily cooked and ate there for 5 of our 14 evenings and could have cooked more! except the restaurants were so fantastic we were spoilt for choice. It was a pleasure to cook there as the kitchen was so well equipped and spacious. This also made family living easy and like a home from home which is what we wanted. The only slight issue with the facilities was the bed in the master bedroom as this was a bit hard for out liking....however this is totally personal preference and the mattress was brand new and spotless which I feel is the main thing! 
The area was fabulous for our needs the Villa is located in small...ish village Sesmarias but close to busier areas and all the attractions. The village has a shop, a hard ware store and 2 bars as well as the fantastic Louisa's restaurant and a pizza place all a short walk up from the villa. There is also a wonderful micro brewery Dos Santos which does tapas and great wine and beer which is across the vineyard from the Villa. We found a way to walk through the vineyard as there is a path that goes there a short 10 minute walk - easily done in the daylight and we got a taxi back. There are also 3 higher end restaurants which we unfortunately only tried one of! but they seem amazing and great for a treat. The Villa is around 3km from Carvoeiro and beach Praia do Caneiros I walked to both easily enough in about half an hour but the area is very hilly so can be a challenge in the heat. We were going to hire a car but Uber works so well it was not necessary it was around 6-7 Euro for the above locations and further beaches Praia do Grande was about 10 Euro. The prices went up a little as there was a festival on Praia do Rocha which caused an increase in demand but that was only a for a few days and a one off. We used an amazing driver Hugo from 'Friendly Manoeuvre' for our airport transfers which were only 50 Euro +351 968567 589 and we really did not feel the need for a hire car and cost wise Uber was pretty much the same as hiring a car. 
The best thing for the children was the pool and this provided hours of entertainment. When the heat got too much the lounge had a huge TV with all the UK channels - this was handy for 'downtime' so the children could manage the late evenings better! and again this home from home feel is what we wanted and is very relaxing not having to be constantly busy on holiday. 
We also absolutely had to have the air con when we were there July/August as it was sweltering! this made sleeping and getting ready for evenings out so much more bearable and was well worth the additional cost. 
The upper terrace provided excellent views of the area and sunsets were beautiful. It may be an idea to have some higher stools up there as we found when you sat down you couldn't see over the wall so well. 
Overall the most fantastic holiday and we will be back in 2021 hoping to book for 3 weeks now we know the area has so much available for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this As Tres Oliveiras. The views were lovely from the veranda, especially at sunset. The walk to Carvoeiro town is a good 40min walk down hill which we did on the first night. We used Uber to get around &amp; it was quick &amp; cheap. Did our main shopping in the intermache supermarket which was a 10min taxi ride away. But we later discovered that Lidl was also 10min away &amp; much cheaper. 

There is a local supermarket 5 min walk away as well as a local bar where we popped in for quick beer after a long walk. Also, if you get a chance, do visit Dos Santos which is a restaurant bar that brews its own craft beer. They also have a vineyard &amp; will harvest their first wine this September. It has amazing views of their vineyard &amp; if you look closely, you can see As Tres Oliveiras from the restaurant. It's a good 30min walk from the villa but it's worth it.

Finally, Peter the owner was excellent with communication both before &amp; during our stay &amp; gave us lots of hints, tips &amp; advice. We hope to return one year &amp; will definitely recommend As Tres Oliveiras to all our friends &amp; family. 

Book it ASAP. You won't be disappointed.

Great villa for golfing groups or families. High standard of equipment and amenities. Lovely quiet area but not far from centre of Carvoeiro. Fabulous pool and sunbathing areas. Ticks all the boxes. Thanks for a great stay Peter.

What a fantastic villa.
Over the past 20 years we have spent many holidays in the algarve and have mostly rented villas around Vilamoura and Quateira. Mostly we have had good experiences with the properties rented with one or two exceptions but having decided this time to head further along the coast we chose 'As Tres Oliveiras' for a seven day break with the family.
We arrived at the villa mid afternoon having contacted the local agent/management as requested.The keys had been left in a keysafe so entry was straightforward and plenty of parking space for our two small cars.On entering the villa we were immediately impressed by the level of equipment and quality of the tasteful decor and furnishings and a lovely feeling that the owners obviously spent time here and were very careful about the upkeep of the property.
The pool area and terraces were all equipped with quality sun loungers and tables (not the usual flimsy white plastic that many villa owners install).
The villa is situated in a very quiet area and we would recommend a car, although a taxi ride into Carvoeiro was about 10euros for a six seater and there are some bars and restaurant within walking distance. 
To sum up, lovely villa, lovely area, amazing views and a very helpful owner, ..... we will be back.

We had a lovely family holiday in this spacious luxury villa. The villa is in a pleasant and peaceful area just outside Carvoeiro which is a very picturesque small coastal town with pretty sandy cove and busy town square. The villa was perfect for our family of three generations! The pool is a good size and was enjoyed daily particularly by my grandchildren, whilst the large covered patio area, complete with dining table and comfy chairs provided a perfect area to relax out of the sun. The villa is well equipped , with everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend the air conditioning if staying during the hotter summer months. We had a wonderful holiday staying at As Tres Olivieras and would love to return. Highly recommended ! Thank you Pete and Nora.
