PRECIOUS &amp; LOCATION PERFECTION

I traveled to Cortona with my husband and my 2 adult children joined us on our 3rd day. Parking was confusing for us and at a minimum, but once you figure it out, it's fine. Cortona is not nearly as steep as we expected, so getting to the apartment with a rolling suitcase is a complete breeze! Sofia is a PERFECT LOCATION for exploring Cortona and visiting nearby Tuscan Hill Towns. The apartment was exactly as pictured, however seemed much larger than it appears in photos. The view is amazing in every light, day and night! The living room was a perfect perch for the 4 photographers to upload all they wanted on social media each night. My adult children took over the sofa with all of their devices so we borrowed a chair from the kitchen and it was perfect. Samantha mentioned in our communication that the wifi didn't have the strongest signal, but we had NO PROBLEM at all. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our locally sourced pasta, pesto, bread and WINE! And yes, there's a dishwasher! We cooked a few evening meals and breakfast everyday. The bathroom is roomy with a small shower, but plenty of hot water! We over-packed as usual, so didn't need the washing machine, but there were racks for drying and plenty of room. The master bedroom was very roomy, plenty of storage and a fabulous large window above the bed if you enjoy an open window during the night. The second bedroom was WAY BIGGER than it appears in the photos, but has no storage. That was NO problem for us as my well traveled adult children lived perfectly out of their suitcases and the beds were perfect, however my daughter needed earplugs because of her brother's snoring #lifefatherlikeson #familyproblems. We explored Cortona, inside and outside the wall on foot and loved every step! It's very small and easy to navigate with phone gps for quick reference if you get a little lost winding through the streets inside the wall. Cortona was a perfect location to take day trips to some other Tuscan Hill Towns. We visited Siena, Montepulciano, and Civita (the dying city, accessible by footbridge only, population 8!, SO FUN!) We will go back to Cortona for a spring/summer experience. There is just so much to do and see! I hope to meet Samantha on our next trip as she was the perfect hostess albeit by email. She answered every email within a couple of hours, if immediately. She offered great suggestions for every aspect of our trip and she is adorable! Hope to meet her for a meal next time!!!

Breathtaking Views in Historical Centre of Cortona

We loved our stay. The flat was really nice, but the shower was over a tiny bath - be careful not to slip over. Samantha was very prompt with communication before and during our stay. The flat was close to everything - just short walks to all attractions. Getting to park the car at the church was through very narrow streets - an adventure in itself! Cortona is by far my favourite place to visit so far and the flat had a lovely ambience. The second bedroom had two small singles. Unfortunately they couldn't be put together. The mattresses were comfy.

Walk to Everything! Designer Flat in Historical Centre of Cortona

Es un lugar que esta perfecatamente ubicado, muy bien equipado, es para cuatro personas comodamente, tal vez el baño es un poco pequeño Las indicaciones fueron exactas para llegar y para estacionar. La cocina esta muy completa. El centro es de facil llegada . Desde Cortona recorrimos toda la Toscana sin problemas Un placer para los sentidos Samantha se ocupo de toda la logistica y no tuvimos problemas

This property was beautiful. We had a rental lined up for a week in rome and when we got there, it was not as advertised- so we had to find something last min and the moment we saw this we knew where we wanted to be. Samantha was SO nice and helpful through the whole process. She was very accomidating. The flat is so nice, and the view is something you just have to see. We arrived at night, so when we woke up the next morning (after a great nights sleep in the very comfy bed), we were just amazed at the beautiful views from the kitchen and living room! Everything is new and updated, its got the italian amenities with conceniences as well. Cortona was an awesome little town to stay in- you can walk from the flat not even a min and your in the square where you can get great coffee and pastries. A must eat is Nessum Dorma- the food was fantastic- we ate in the cellar, and it was beautiful. The owner was so nice and helpful accomidating us with our 1yr old dauhter. You will definatly be missing out if you dont stay here. Its a must! P.s. We missed a delivery of an item for our daughter before we left back home and Samantha has been so kind to help us in getting it sent back to us. A big life saver for sure!

Great, clean, tastefully decorated and uncluttered apartment in the middle of everything with awesome view. Super responsive owner, comfortable beds, kitchen suitable for preparing meals with food market steps away. Parking available in easy walking distance inside the walls and outside ZTL. We spent many hours happily scaling/wandering Cortona from one end to the other &amp; also made daytrips to Orvieto, Assisi, Poppi, Monterchi, Arezzo, happy to come back to Cortona as a home base. Lots of other greatest hits within driving distance. Shopping, art, garden, playground, Saturday market, piazza &amp; street life all in walking distance. We stayed in heat wave in July and were fine with fans. Stayed with two kids and worked out great with layout, clothes washer, clean modern bathroom.

My extended family stayed in the Marcelo and Sofia apartments. The booking process was simple. Samantha was incredibly helpful with developing our travel plans. She has a rich knowledge of traveling in Italy. Indeed, she is a great ambassador for country! Her love of the area is infectious. Cortona is a beautiful, quaint hilltop town. It has plenty of amenities, but not in the least "touristy." The people of Cortona are very kind and welcoming. We were particularly impressed with how accepting of children the people are. Most locals speak some degree of English which makes getting by a breeze. There are plenty of affordable delicious, restaurants in town. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The apartments are located in a quiet part of the town and about a two minute walk from the main square. Free parking is available very close by. We felt very relaxed and at home in the apartments which have been newly renovated and decorated. They are clean and well maintained. The kitchens had everything we needed. There is a washer, iron, and hairdryer a in each apartment which were much appreciated. Samantha thoughtfully provided us a crib for our toddler. The beds were very comfortable. Cortona is a great base of operations for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. From Cortona, we did day trips to Montepulciano, Perugia, Lucca, Siena, Florence, and Populonia. Cortona is an easy two hour drive from Rome. I highly recommend staying here. Dave

Stayed for 4 nights. Sofia was beautifully decorated and the view from the living room was breath taking. Master bed with the memory form mattress was very comfortable. Found the apartment was outfitted with everything one would need. All you needed was some good bottle of wine, fine cheese and a wonderful companion. The town of Cortona was so nice, great little shops. Lots of restaurants for those romantic evening meals. The Italian food is delicious. I didn't want to leave. Will definitely go back.
