We had a fabulous stay here. A party of 4 couples we spent two weeks in this great property.  The owners are next door (part of the same physical property) but we didn't see them unless we needed to.  There is ample parking and the property overlooks fields and mountains whilst being about 2 minutes walk from a small bar, 5 minutes from a supermarket and no further to 4 restaurants.  This is a fantastic spot for anyone planning a walking holiday in this beautiful country.  We walked almost every day, but there are also cycling and kyaking opportunities within a few minutes walk.  It's less than an hour from the airport and much less touristy than Bled, but the nearby lake Bohinj is just as pretty and much quieter.  The owners are very friendly and welcoming and I recommend this property wholeheartedly.

We rented the house with our friends ­ four families all together. This beautiful home had everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable. Well located, just a step away from centre or endless meadows, very clean, loved the beautiful view from private garden. We enjoyed the shopping and the walks to the village, as wel as hiking, biking and exploring Slovenia. I would tell anyone if you want to stay in Bohinj, this country home is awesome so are the owners, who helped us in every way with advices about area &amp; informations to easy discover this lovely and friendly country. We are hoping to get back in summer - as soon as we can!

“Perfect family vacation”
A group of three families with children stayed at House Zotlar in August and this was our best holiday time ever. The property is situated close to center, at outskirts of a nice village on peceful location. From garden, we had tremendous view directly to highest slovenian mountain Triglav, beautiful Alps and green grass fields, surrounding back of the house.
We were so relaxed, as our children were safe in a private, fence protected garden with playground and trampoline.
There is great barbecue place and garden seats, benches, tables in comfort of apple tree shadow, perfect for a hot days
in this time of year. Even rain shower or cold evening didn't ruin our delightful moments, because of pleasant glassed porch.
Original old country style house is well equipped with all accessories, not to mention large kitchen, living room with big screen international channels tv, really fast wifi anywhere at the property and spacious secure parking. There must be huge amount of effort contributed to keep the place in such romantic spirit of old times. Thumbs up also to thorough tidines of house and garden, vicinity and inventory. 
A little advice to following travellers - the water from house taps is pure mountain and drinkable, very tasty, so no need to buy bottled one from close by store.
We really enjoyed our adventures and beauty of nature around Bohinj, the lake was perfect and incredibly clean, our kids loved it.
The last but not least, a big thanks to friendly owner's family next door for all advices and help. We made a reservation in advance already.

“Great location, great house, great service. :-)”
We've stayed for one week. Three families with 7 children aged from few month to 5 years. The house was very well equipped offering very pleasant and spacious rooms. The kids were playing in the garden while we were enjoying breakfast with beautiful views of Julian Alps. As we are an active families we went MTB riding, swimming, stand up paddling, hiking, kayaking and enjoying every activity this surrounding offers. Position of the house allows for close shops and everything a family needs. Highly recommending this house also thanks to the owners who were very helpful in anything we needed.

Beautiful, well equiped house in a truly stunning and relaxed location. I stayed here with my husband and two small children and our two friends and their two small children so a group of 8. The owners are extremely welcoming, easy to get on with and were always on hand to offer advice and help when needed. The house is very spacious, we had 5 large double rooms and there was an extra room we didnt need. All cleaning products, toilet roll, dishwasher tabs and towels are provided throughout the full stay. Well equipped kitchen. The house is decorated in fantastic vintage 70 pieces and the garden is fully enclosed with a trampoline, and swings for the children, which our gang loved and they were completely safe at all times so the adults could also relax. There is constant hot water and free Wi-Fi. Lake bohinj is a 5 min drive or from the house there is a stunning cycle though the meadow and woods along the river which is a designated cycle road away from cars, only pedestrians and bikes use this, its about 7km leisurely cycle to the lake for a swim. Lake Bled is just 20 min drive away, there is a bar at the top of the road from the house, supermarket and restaurants only 5 min walk, and bike hire around the corner from the house with very reasonable rates. I cant recommend this place highly enough, we had a fantastic holiday and we will be back very soon! I was very sad to leave
