we had booked this villa for 9 but 3 of our party couldnt make it which was just as well the rooms are advertised as double but they are indeed not, the only double bed was the master room which was lovely but the bathroom needs a proper shower and a complete overhaul as does the rest of the villa.The owners cant expect people to pay the price they are charging for a villa that is in needs of work.
On our arrival nothing was ready for us and so much was wrong although in the end the owners put it right it should have all been done before we arrived.we had to have a new tv,cooker,they borrowed a bbq from someone across the road even though i asked before we booked if there was one,at 8pm at night someone was still putting the pool chairs together.the people did not leave the villa until 9pm which was 12 hours into our holiday.I unpacked my case and in the bottom drawer of the chest of drawers was a BB GUN i could not believe my eyes what if one of the children had found it and to make matters worse the person either put it in the utility or there was another one there as well it was not loaded but that is not the point.The swimming pool was bad it was cleaned out once in a fortnight lucky we have a pool so my husband cleaned it daily a lady came in once a day to sweep around the pool are with a broom that we think must have had a hole in it because we had to sweep up after she left.There was no utility check because the villa is full of their stuff far to much to know what was there or not,i had to clean the cutlery draws out and wash the things we were going to use as everything was old and grubby,i had to clean the fridge before we could use it as it was filthy.We have photo,s of the state of the place on our arrival and to top it all when they finally left on our first day we went to put a dvd on for the kids and there was no remote so it could not be used,we could,nt contact the estate manager as he was away and no one else spoke english.so overall we would not recommend this villa in its present state although the outside seating area is lovely.

Villa Finca Miraflores (organic finca with private swimming pool)

My family and I have spent one wonderfull week at Finca Miraflores. From day one Raimunda - the house keeper - looked after us, making sure the swimming pool was spotless every single day of our stay, cooking delicious types of paella... 

Me and my husband chilled out by the stunning private swimming pool surrounded by palms and pine trees while the kids had a great time hand picking fruits and vegs from the organic finca. And best of all we could have as much fruit and vegs as we wish to, it was free of charge!! 

The porches are immense, some of the gardens need a bit more of care but the finca is just outstanding, a great experience. Also the views from the panoramic terrace are spectacular, something to remember. 

The kids also loved the estates shared swimming pool as lots of children gathered there and played together while dad and mum enjoyed delicious tapas at the chiringuito!! 

We had the chance to spend one full at the thermal baths in Fortuna and Archena - less than 30 minutes by car!!! It felt like heaven on earth...
