The villa is much bigger on the inside than in the pictures, there's lots of space and the balcony is a lovely place to sit.  The outside of the property wasn't as spacious as the pictures however the pool was big enough and plenty of sunbeds and parasols.
We were a family of 4 adults and 3 children (children aged from 5 -9) and the villa is located at the top of a very steep hill in the urbanised area of Monte Alto.  There is a Lidl within walking distance (bit of a hike as hilly espevially when yoyr carrying water) and also a few bars that serve food (Would recommend the Lemon Tree opposite Lidl, English owners who serve delicious food and large measures of alcohol).
Carole and Tony were very helpful and informative and the fridge was well stocked on our arrival to start us off.  Also plenty of towels, bedding, even inflatables for the pool.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay, however I Would not recommend you stay here with young children or those who have mobility issues unless you hire a car, as it is very hilly.
We used public transport and taxis which are reasonably priced, the Renfe (train) runs to all resorts and is very cheap however the children got quite tired as it's a good 30 minute walk down to station and a long uphill walk back.
The property behind the villa was being renovated and therefore we had some noise and dust throughout our stay as builders were on site 8am to 5pm mon-friday. However we were warned of this prior to our arrival and so it wasn't a surprise.

Had a lovely 10 days in this villa. It was beautiful. Like another reviewer said, the pictures don’t really do it justice. Tony and Carol showed us around when we arrived. Everywhere was really clean. There was no arguing about who should have which bedroom as they were all large and had ample storage and efficient air conditioning.
The large fridge was packed with goodies! Thank you! These came in handy as the supermarkets were closed when we arrived on the Sunday and the next day was a Spanish Bank Holiday so they were closed then also. There was a very large Lidl approximately 10 minutes slow walk away. The bus stop to Mijas, Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Torremolinos was just opposite Lidl.
The villa was at the end of a very steep but short incline. A car would’ve been handy but we had decided to use the buses and taxis. The bins for the rubbish were down the hill on the main road.
The pool area was lovely. We used it a lot over the 10 days. There was also plenty of shady areas to sit and read. There were plenty of good books in the villa and the TV was okay with quite a few English channels to choose from.
The kitchen was very well kitted out. Plenty of crockery and pans, etc. We didn’t eat in a great deal but when we did there was everything we needed to hand.
We had a few meals at Shakers, a bar/restaurant that was situated near the main bus stop. We liked it there. Good atmosphere, good choice of menu, very friendly staff.
Would I go back to this villa? Absolutely!

This was an ideal villa for a family holiday.  The ages ranged from 75 years to 7 years and we were all very satisfied with the facilities.  The children loved the pool and the older ones were equally pleased with the many areas where one could have a few moments peace and quiet.  

The location was perfect for the beach, the Pueblo with its many bars and restaurants, and the many golf courses in the area.  Would recommend hiring a car to make the most of the region though it is quite possible to walk to the 2 local supermarkets and the nearby attractions.  Tivoli World was enjoyed by all, though it was only open at weekends at the time of year we visited.  

The motorway system is only a few minutes away giving access to the many places of interest along the Costa del Sol.  The airport is no more than 20 minutes from the villa.

Carol and Tony, the property managers, were very accommodating in arranging early entry to the villa and because of a late flight home, (had to be re-arranged due to Monarch's demise)  allowed us to stay longer in the villa at the end of our stay.  The welcome pack provided at the beginning of our holiday was amazing.   Never before have we had such a comprehensive hamper of goodies!

All in all a brilliant holiday and we all hope to be able to stay in this villa again.

I can start by endorsing everything we have read in the many positive reviews already showing for 2016 and 2017.  
Despite reading them before we went, we were still amazed at how wonderful the villa, the views, the pool and the 
welcome pack actually were on arrival.
It is a very comfortable and well-equipped villa.  The sea views, garden and secluded pool are fabulous.  All the relaxing and 
dining areas give you the perfect choices.  Wi-Fi and English TV are so good to have too.
Carol &amp; Tony stay just a phone call away so you don’t feel isolated.  Once you get your bearings you discover 
supermarkets, restaurants, Tivoli World and many other things almost on your doorstep.  
A lovely villa in an ideal location, I would highly recommend for a large or small family holiday.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the villa. Everything we needed was there which makes your stay more relaxing. Even though I'd looked at all the pictures it's even better than imagined, so spacious and you don't feel like you're on top of each other. We've been holidaying in Arroyo for over 25 years and this is by far the best property we've stayed in. Thank you to Carol and Tony for everything and look forward to seeing you next year 😎

The villa was amazing. Even nicer than in the photos shown. It had everything you needed down to shower gels left behind, shampoos, cooking oil,dishwasher tablets, washing detergent. It's very annoying when you stay in a villa and the cleaner throws all these things away and you have to buy a full box of everything for one wash...
As we arrived late the agents left a key out for us and greeted us the next day and were very helpful.

Aircon is always a must for us but we didn't use it too much as there is a nice breeze running through the house if you leave the windows open in the day. Watch out for the mossies my partner was ate alive but I escaped.

There was a very generous welcome pack on arrival with butter, bread,milk,5 litres water, orange juice, ham, eggs,alcoholic and non alcoholic refreshments and snacks.  We have stayed in many villas and this was the best welcome pack I've ever seen.

Pool Area was fab and surrounding gardens and you had the sun all day long. Very private.

The only downside is the villa is a bit away from the nightlife, marina etc. Benalmadena is a big spot and we spent alot of money on taxis. We had family in the sunset beach club and it is around €10 a pop with tip wherever you were going. If you like your nightlife this can add up.

Overall the villa itself is fab maybe for a family or group who socialise at home rather than going out every night. We used the bbq once and it was lovely. I will be recommending it to everyone

Fabulous villa in a nice quiet area. We were met by Tony and Carol who showed us around the villa. The welcome pack was most appreciated especially the beer. The villa is very comfortable and the living area is bigger than most villas we have stayed in. The pool was a welcome sight after a days golfing, and the area around the pool was for relaxing. I would recommend this villa and have already booked again for next year (2018)
