Hemingway Villa

Angela H 20/10/13 Recently came back from a 2 week holiday at Hemingway Villa with friends. It was in an ideal location, in a beautifully maintained gated community. The villa was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. It was next to a huge Walmart, which meant that on our first night there we could stock up on the essentials, ready to start our holiday the next day. We used the chinese takeaway a couple of nights which delivered to the villa and our favourite restaurant "Mannys" is just down the road.
 The games room and pool came in handy for entertaining the kids while the adults got ready and the free wifi was great for keeping friends and family back home updat ed with our activities.
 Disney world, International Drive and Universal are apporiximately half an hour away.
 Would definitely return!

The villa was fantastic. It had everything we needed, great facilities, lovely and clean, was in a lovely secure location and we felt completely at home. The pool area was fab, with enough space to sit and eat while the kids enjoyed the pool. Cooking was easy and we enjoyed the barbeque after long days out in the parks. I feel that the villa provided excellent value for money, which just topped off a fantastic holiday - one which will be remembered for many years to come.

This property was recommended to us by my wifes hairdresser as the owner is a client of his also. In addition to our two young children (ages 12 and 7) we also had my two grown up sons from my first marriage (ages 32 and 29). I have to say that the property exceeded our expectations in every respect. It was immaculately furnished with ample room for everybody to have some space of their own. The pool was a terrific attraction after a long day at the theme parks. The stunning views over the golf course added to the enjoyment of a glass of wine at the end of a tiring day. We particularly liked the extra touches of a pool table and darts board in the garage, a Wii console, large flat screen TV and iPod docking station in the lounge area, flat screen TVs in two of the bedrooms and Wi-Fi access throughout the property. In addition, the alarm warning when the patio door to the pool area is opened is a great idea if there are young children in the party. The driving distance to the Disney theme parks was longer than we were used to on previous visits to Florida but the five times we went to Disney saw us from door to car park in 20/25 minutes maximum. We would have no hesitation going back to Hemingway Villa again and would strongly recommend this property to anybody who would like a quality home away from home. Oh, I almost forgot a massive Walmart is located just at the entry gates to Southern Dunes and Mannys Chophouse, which is only 2 minutes drive away, is a must for anybody who likes steak in a lively environment. Finally, I did not play Southern Dunes golf course this time but I have done previously and it is a terrific test of golf. The property would be ideal for a golfing holiday as well as a family holiday.

We stayed at hemmingway villa Oct 2012, we found it it fantastic. Clean, spacious, safe, quiet.
 
All the facilities you could require, with large supermarket and other stores just down the road. A few nice touches too with pool table, dart board, dvd player etc. a bit of thought into it to for families with a pool guard to stop wandering children.
 
location wise ideal for disney etc and on a main artery road for access to other places in Florida.
 
would definateley use again and can recommend. just dont bank on the club house being open after 6pm.

WOW! what can I say about Hemingway Villa!?!? Exceeding expectations does not even begin to cover it. We were looking forward to a Holiday of a lifetime and the perfect base goes a long way to making this a reality. The location for all the main attractions that Orlando has to offer is Spot On combined with the privacy and luxury of this villa. The property is maintained to almost Celebrity standards, with everything you would need and more for a long or short break. You could easily holiday for 2 weeks or 2 months here. The residential area feels safe for families with a great supermarket on your doorstep. A golf lovers paradise! (is this is your bag?) and the pool/outside terrace area is just what you need after a long day on your feet! I would recommend this to anyone I came into contact with looking to holiday in Florida. Well done to all involved in maintaining and making this property available for the discerning tourist. THANK YOU - WE WILL BE BACK!

 We have just arrived back from our family holiday in Orlando and I must say how fantastic the villa is.The location was perfect ,we had everything we needed in the villa and more! Highly recommended , we will be booking again. You must visit Mannys Chophouse and Blizzard Beach for a great day out.

Location! Location!! Location!!! This is one of the main qualities of the villa. As an avid golfer, this is an ideal setting, overlooking the golf course. You can sit on the patio by the pool early morning and watch the golf while having your coffee. you are also close to many prime golf courses. 
The villa is a very spacious and comfortable place to relaxin the evening and the games room has lots of comfy seating. The cleanliness of the villa was exceptional. 
Airport - 30min 
Disney -15min 
Mannys Chophouse -5 min
Walmart -5 min 
What else would you need?
Cant wait to return for more golf :))

We stayed at the villa in August (4 adults & 3 children) and we could not recommend it enough. It has EVERYTHING you could need and more. We loved all the little extras such as books, cool bag, pram etc. we found it clean, comfy and well set out. The pool & BBQ were perfect on days off. 
To top it off Maria was efficitent, professional & very helpful. 
A villa set out with families in mind!
We cannot wait to go back!
Oh and the beds are comfy perfect after a park day!

THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT VILLA, IN AN IDEAL LOCATION.
THERE WAS 6 OF US 4 ADULTS AND 2 KIDS AND THE VILLA WAS PERFECT .
THE KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME IN THE SWIMMING POOL AND WITH THE POOL TABLE
WE HAVE BEEN TO FLORIDA QUITE A FEW TIMES AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST VILLAS WE HAVE STAYED IN.
THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY WERE GREAT AND MARIA COULDNT HAVE DONE ANY MORE FOR US.
WE WILL DEFINATELY GO BACK TO THIS VILLA
