had a quiet relaxing week, 1st week in december complex was quiet, maybe 25% occupancy, warm enough to sunbathe on the roof terrace from sunup to sunset, with sun not strong enough to worry about sunburn. first evening we wandered up to the buffet resteraunt with the self service bar, all you want to eat and drink, 5 minute walk away , we returned each evening. ( i appear to have gained 3 kilos in the week) though the hyperdino in lajares was adequate we thought the one in cotello was better only problem is we spent soo much time chilling on the roof and the nearby beaches that we saw nothing of the other end of the island.... might have to come again in the spring.

The villa itself is good, basic value for money in the sun. Ideal for two, maybe a squeeze for four. Almost everything provided but some English speaking tv channels and some wine glasses would be welcome. The complex is very quiet and remote and would certainly benefit from a shop, bar and restaurant. Having said that the nearest facilities are only a short drive away. Overall - good value for money.
