The villa is located in a small farming village, 1.5km from the coast. The village has numerous high quality villa's , mainly foreign ownership, located along a couple of roads, very well integrated into the area so as to keep the laid back village feel. The local bar which is run by a lovely Thai lady called "Won" is the one stop shop for everything from Mopeds to home cooked Thai food, it is also the local meeting point in the evening if you want to drink a beer and chat away with the very friendly foreign community. Do not be surprised to see cattle and chickens wandering past. I would recommend that you have some form of transport so that you can get to the coast and visit some of the excellent coffee bars or restaurants, not forgetting the beaches. The roads are very quiet so I had a couple of mopeds which served the purpose well. The villa is lovely with 8 on-suite double/twin rooms , all air conditioned with a high standard of cleanliness and all placed around a large pool with a covered communal area which has a fantastic bar, music center, disco lighting and comfy seating and tables where you can enjoy a real get together with everyone. If you fancy eating inside then there is also an open plan, air conditioned kitchen/Lounge with seating. The hosts Ian and Teresa were fantastic, taking us to the market and showing us around the local area the first day, giving us good pointers on where to go for food, drink, beaches, jet skis etc. If you want a nice relaxing holiday, exploring the area visiting traditional local restaurants and bars at a very laid back pace, then this area is ideal. If its nightlife and shopping you want, then head to Hua Hin, it is 30-40 mins away in a taxi.

This was a fabulous villa and perfect for a family break. Extremely well equipped and with parking. The pool was wonderful and my children loved it. Lots of outdoor space. Would definitely recommend :)

Mountain Beach Villa is situated in a very quiet area and you need a car to get around, and to also get to restaurants. It is not a place for rowdiness & loud night life. It is however, a great place from which to explore the local area & the Thai National Parks at Kha Sam Roi Yot, Phraya Nakon Cave & Kui Buri Park. The villa is very well equipped & you'll want for nothing in the way of kitchen equipment. The beds are very comfortable & we had a very relaxing stay.

Loved our stay at the villa, very nice clean and very well equipped. Fantastic kitchen. Only slight downside is the beach is further away than suggested and not really walking distance unless we got the directions incorrect. It is a little remote but we didn’t mind this. Owners very helpful and locals friendly

I cannot recommend this villa enough! I would actually need more stars for the value for money. Ian and Teresa are great down to earth owners who i regard as friends after 3 visits to there villa, once with my wife and another couple and twice with a group of all males. You will not be disappointed if this is your choice it really is exactly as discribed.

This place is perfect for anyone looking for a private and quite holiday. The villa was spotless and very well equipped for all our holiday needs,as well as being comfortable and welcoming with a lovely pool area. It is situated in a quiet village but only minutes away from shops and bars by bike.it was our second visit to the area and we will be back We will have no hesitation recommending the villa to anyone thinking of holidaying in this area of Thailand. Our hosts Ian & Teresa were so very helpful to us and gave us a lot of good info on the area and arranged our transfers and bike hire. All I can add is it really is just like in the pictures.

Everything was as expected, have stayed here before and would use again when in this area of Thailand , the owners are on hand and are very helpful and relaxed , the villa is wonderful in every way , the area is very quiet at night which suited us very well , great property for family or couples like we were , beach is only a mile or so away and shopping is 5 minutes or so away , we have a rental car so travel around everywhere, so being a bit out of the town is great for us, many good eating places along the beach road or in pranburi itself,

The villa was just as the ad, beautiful, although we had alot of ongoing problems with the toilets. The owners where very helpful and always near by. We had to move out for one night, due to repairs to the drainage system. The area was lovely, we found the buggy was a must, as everything is out of walking distance. We knew about certain add on before hand, the electricity add on mentions a &pound9.50 charge in the ad. We used the electricity very carefully and were hit with a bill for &pound65 on leaving. We never saw the first reading, only the meter at the end. Very disappointing end to our holiday.

My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay here for 3 nights. The villa was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. There was literally everything you could think of in terms of plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc. The cable TV (True Visions) and internet worked well. The pool is a good-size and theres a big garden with a massage sala. The surrounding area is very rustic and you definitely need your own transport, but its very peaceful and there are some stunning looking moutains just to the south. Its not that isolated though and there is a big Tesco Lotus supermarket within 10 minutes drive. Hua Hin town is only 20 minutes or so. Highly recommended. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we visit Hua Hin.

Just spent 1 week at this villa and it was excellent, 100% as described in the ad, we had a varied group of 11 family members ranging from 2-78 years of age, its not in the middle of Hua Hin but nor is it advertised as being in the middle, our plan was to use it as our base for a week were we could relax and whoever wanted to go out on trips went and others just stayed at the villa, your 10 mins from tesco and 25 mins max on good roads from hua hin, the outside pool and bar/bbq/relaxing area of the villa was one of the main reasons for booking it and we were not disappointed it was fantastic we loved it, the other was the way the bungalows in the villa were set out each room opening to the pool and garden area.1 very minor issue if you can call it that but it had nothing to do with the villa on 2 nights there were quite a few mozzies early in the evening, but hey we are in Thailand rub some deet on spray a bit in the dark areas and they didnt bother you the other 5 nights we didnt have an issue The owners were excellent met us as arranged and left us to our own devises.I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed it but it would bore the readers, all in all we had a fantastic time and I would recommend this villa to anybbody
