Arrived at villa and followed instructions on getting keys very impressive from outside and pool looked great , was a bit disappointed on first impressions on entering however dealt with this myself and contacted owner, was really warm in villa at night as felling fans and other small fans did nothing , through the day u could open windows and doors which was good , overall we had a good holiday , the 2 bars were excellent for food especially cheers bar very nice bar staff and owners , if u don't drive it's about 20 min walk into villa martin to nearest super market taxi back was 5 Euro, there's a wee mini market just couple of mins from villa they supplied what was needed at extra cost but was handy however closed at 6pm mid week and 4pm on a Sunday , bars hosted quiz nights , karaoke, and cheers bar had a Tuesday for the kids with magic show , kids dancing and karaoke , overall villa ok on a basic level as there were some issues

We had a lovely time whilst staying in the villa. There were 5 adults and 1 child and the place was more than big enough for us all. They have everything you need to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay. I contacted the owner on a couple of occasions with questions and got a quick and helpful response everuntime. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely villa with a pool that is definitely larger than it looks in the pictures.  It's a pool that you can swim in, rather than one where by the time you start, you're at the other side.

We were a family of five.  A double room with en suite for my mother, a double room for us, a twin room for my daughter and my son slept in a folding sofa bed (sleeps 2) in the "conservatory", which is like a large porch - It has a locking glass outer door but also is on the outside of a locking wooden "main" door.

There are four chairs in the dining area, and a sofa plus armchair in the living room area.  Just about enough for us if you carry a chair in, but a party of eight would struggle to all be in the same room at the same time - If they wanted to that is.

The villa is clean and well furnished.  The TV is connected to a satelite that gets hundreds of channels, so you can find most of the normal English channels if you need them.

There's a charcoal BBQ near the pool area, although a tree was grown right across it, making us worried about using it in case we set the tree on fire(!) ,.... plus we couldn't find any BBQ tools.

There's another gas BBQ on the rooftop terrace, which we didn't use but I'm sure would be fine once attached to a gas bottle.

The surrounding area is very English.

There's the Cheers bar, Captain Morgans around 100 yards in either direction.  And a "Witherspoons" less than a kilometre away.  The food in both is much better than it needs to be.

The German restaurant opposite is very good.  Schnitzel a speciality.

And about a mile away is the VillaMartin Plaza, where there are 15-20 restaurants all around an outside courtyard ... a lovely place to sit and eat, with entertainment most nights from about 9pm.

The beach is a 10-minute drive.  If it is "red flagged" then it's only a five minute additional drive to another one in a cove that is more likely to be "green".

All in all, we had a lovely stay.

It's hot.  And it's hot on the rooftop.  But the roof is a lovely place to sit at night and listen to how quiet it is.

Chris is fast to respond to a text if you have a problem.

We had a fantastic stay at casa terribithia. Chris was very responsive to communication. The villa is very spacious and well maintained. The pool is much bigger than the pictures show. It's close to numerous facilities and the beach is a ten minute car journey. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will do again. Thanks Chris.

This villa is in the perfect location for all amenities, the pool is great, the pictures of the pool don't do it justice it's a lot bigger than it looks, everything is within walking distance except the beach,I would definitely recommend this villa.

Great time! Just returned from this loverly place which was just like a home from home. The swimming pool was simply perfect and was much needed due to the heat. It also has the advantage of the sun for most of the day and great outdoor seating space, 1 table and set of chairs to the rear with big parasell and 1 table and chairs to the front of the villa. Sun loungers are also provided. Far bigger outdoor space and pool than you anticipate by looking at the picture's. Premises itself was very clean with mature gardens surrounding the villa. Very nice English gent next door if you are unsure of the area. If you do have young children then a hire car is a must for visits to the multiple beaches, towns and shops. Villamartin Plaza is just a few minutes drive away or a good 15/20 walk. There are several bars within 5mins walk and a small supermarket which was well stocked. 

The owner of this property (Chris) was so helpfull and very easy to make contact with and would always reply swiftly.  Highly recomend this property and hope to stay again in the future

Absolutely brilliant holiday. The villa is superb and the pool was a godsend. The kids loved it. Cheers bar was our favourite. Fantastic for the kids who are all under 7. The wee local shop is handy and the men who run it are lovely. Villamartin was a nice 15 minute walk. Theres a small supermarket,gift shop and typical holiday shop. Most places are eating and drinking.The Chinese is delicious and the small cafe next to it(Chadwicks I think) was superb. All in all, a holiday we all loved and cannot recommend highly enough. Owner very easy to contact and very nice and helpful.

WOW - What a great holiday. 
Where to start, 
Booking this villa was very daunting as non of us 6 (2 couples and a single male and a single female) had never stopped in a villa before nor new the area.
Keys were received a week before arrival via royal mail recorded delivery including detailed instruction on directions and the up keeping of the villa i.e. security alarm numbers.
We arrived to the spotlessly clean villa, chucked our stuff in and jumped straight into the perfect cool pool.
There was a hand book on the table explaining all the local amenities and family trips/days out.
During our 8 day stay at the villa we found its features such as English Tv, cooker, fridge freezer, washer, BBQ and the cd player (which we took outside for music round the pool) great as it meant we did what we want when we wanted and also listened to what we want lol.
Our typical day involved a full English breakfast (popping across the road to Morgans, or walking down to the plaza) ranging between 2 and 3 euros. We would then take a short drive to either the beach or the shopping centre and spend a few hours there. On the way home we would call the supermarket (Mercdonia) and stock up on the food and ale.
After a few hours in the pool, cooling down and getting merry we would walk either up the cheers bar (watch the bowls or a have a spot of lunch) or nip across the road for a few. (Both bars had all the sports and free WIFI and a full meal in either was between 6 and 10 euros.
In the evening we always went out either down the plaza or down to the bars just past the supermarket where we liked an Irish bar called The Stray Sod.
I found the holiday extremely cheap and its up there with the best holiday iv had. We paid £195 each for the villa, flights, and 1 checked bagged per x2 people. Then additional £50 each for the 6 seater car hire, this including additional insurance and full tank of fuel.
A pint of larger was around 2.50 euro and cider 3 euro, (both exception and we sampled quite a few). 
The neighbour across the road is the friendliest elderly English gentlemen I have ever met any thing you needed to know about the local area he is you man.
If you have a toddler its also perfect as there was a travel cot in the spare bedroom and the villa gardens were very secure. 


Would I go back? YES!
