Superb Zodiaco Villa, Orihuela Costa

We have been lucky enough to visit James’s villa for the seventh time this year (delayed from last year due to COVID). We decided to go ahead with the holiday even though Spain were on the amber list as we were confident we would be safe in the villa and Spain. We were not disappointed, from Denise making us feel so welcome in the villa, it was very clean and we felt straight at home. In and around the area there was lots of Covid measures in place. Restaurants were very welcoming and were pleased to see tourists.

We managed to visit our favourite restaurants, Chez Italian at villamartin,  Balti Tower on the strip, terrific value for money and Giacoma at Punta Prima stunning restaurant, well worth the short car journey. Walked to Zenia Boulevard a couple of times (about 20 mins walk) and found a lovely bar,  (in between the restauarants before you cross the road) Zenia Lounge (nice selection of gins). Browns gastronomy pub at La Zenia was excellent and Mauritoas kitchen (past mercadona near la fuenta) is well worth a visit. All the bars at the top of the road are welcoming. Some of the old bars have closed/changed hands. Favourite bar - love the new Irish bar (used to be the spanish bar, very welcoming), The Avenue, San Francisco very good value.
 Visited Alicante which is well worth a visit, walked to the top to see the castle - steep walk in the heat!! Picked our son up from the new airport at Murcia which is really easy to get to/from. Will look to use that next time.
Shame that the Aldi has closed down and gone to La Fuenta only 5 minutes away by car.  New addition of a British supermarket which stocked all uk products, word of caution it  is a bit pricey but if you like uk products it’s ok. 
Love the villa, like a home from home. Internet was a welcome addition and worked well on the roof terrace and outside areas - worked well with four of using it.

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday staying at this property. It is great value for money. The home was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Most evenings we enjoyed eating our dinner on the large terrace. The roof terrace was also a nice area to chill especially after a meal out. The pool was an ideal size featuring a children’s section and showers. I was not keen on  the grass but that was my own personal preference and used a sunbed to lay on instead, Some of the days the pool was busy and some we had it all to ourselves and of course it being less than a minutes walk from the property is a super bonus.  The area is up and coming and must say after our visit last year to area of Las Filipinas we preferred this area of lomas Cabó Roig where more restaurants and shops have appeared for the better and not always needing the car to eat out. Denise who looks after the property was fantastic, excellent communication and manages the property very well. We would have no hesitation staying here again and hope to do so in the near future. Thank you 😊

An ideal base for family groups, lots of facilities in the local area and numerous restaurants. The 'Overseas' supermarket at the end of the street is a great bonus for picky eaters/children. I would advise having your own transport as the location isn't served by a bus service and taxis can be temperamental but if you are @home birds' and will stay close to yo your accommodation then not a problem. The villa itself is amazingly equipped with everything you will need, access to a BBQ as well as cooking facilities and 2 bathrooms means that the space is flexible for larger families and older kids. they lay out of the villa give a great welcoming feeling and the proximity to the swimming pool allows for a little freedom for the more adventurous kids. We will definitely be looking to rebook  for next year, many thanks for your hospitality James and of course Denise....

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay! The villa is very spacious and maintained to a high level. Communal pool close by and very well kept.
The owner is very quick to respond to any communication.
We loved it so much, we have already booked for next year!!

The villa was located in a quiet street, however pubs and restaurant were just around 5 minutes walk.The other villas were empty during our stay so we had the whole street and swimming pool to ourselves. Swimming pool is just a minute walk from villa and water was warm all day, clean and maintained every day. We hired a car for all week and it took just 10 mins driving to the -in our opinion- best beach with possibilities of hiring banana boat, jet ski, parasailing... sea water was great, warm and we spent hours in the sea. The villa was clean with well equipped kitchen, air con was a savior as the temperature raised during the day. The yard in front of the house is massive, and sunny during all day. Communication with the owner was excelent, any questions were answered very quickly, Daniel-the lady who looks after the villa- was very nice, chatty and she explained everything to us the first evening we arrived. We had no complaints, no problems, our holiday went smoothly... We usually go to new places when travelling to Spain, however we would love to go back eventually and have another great holiday.

The villa exceeded our expectations and really could not be faulted in anyway. The whole property was spotless and obviously well looked after by Denise. The pool area was excellent and only a short stroll away, the local restaurants were very good, we liked "Get Fresh" the best. The local beaches at Campoamor, and Cabo Roig are easily accessible, our favourite was Cala Capitan. We will hopefully return soon.

2nd Time here and stayed for a couple of weeks. 

As before the Villa is impeccable and a real home from home and is an excellent base for the Southern Costa Blanca. 

The Aldi at the top of the road is now an 'Overseas' (Iceland) which is great for just about anything but is expensive (All UK brands available at a price) so use for essentials but a Fantastic Aldi is a 2 minute drive in the nest village and is great for choice and price. 

New Bars and restaurants have opened in the locality offering a much wider choice.

As before I would not hesitate to recommend and more than likely will return!!

We had a great time at the villa, we could not fault it. The pool was amazing, we had it to ourselves each time we went in! The villa itself had everything you could possibly need, we enjoyed spending our evenings out on the terrace listening to music with a few drinks. There are a couple of nice bars and restaurants at the top of the road, the only thing we had trouble with, was arriving late on a Sunday we couldn't get any english tea bags :( we tried at the petrol station but with no such luck, we had to go without our beloved cuppa for the night. We went to la zenia boulevard on a couple of occasions (great place) didn't cost us much between the 4 of us in a taxi. We would deffinetly reccomend this villa, and would not hesitate to come back again. As we didn't have a car, we used Denise and her husband for the transfer from the airport, this all went very smoothly, no problems there!. Overall 10/10 for the villa, there is nothing else we could have asked for ( other than maybe a couple of tea bags haha)

Beautiful property, everything you could possibly need,  Denise was more than helpful she ensured we were settled in ok and everything was working ok. only one downside Aldi on the corner has closed down so no local shop other than the petrol station who had the bare essentials. The Auld Dubliner Pub was great, staff friendly and helpful with information, The Bay Leaf Indian Restaurant was brilliant, Great new Clothing and accessories shop just opened very reasonably priced, more shops opening later this year.
