It was good value for money and the owner and his son were very helpful.
The accomodation is basic but more than adequate.
However ,although it is only a short distance down to the local beach (which is beautiful) its quite a hike back up and a rental car was required after only 1 attempt .
In addition ,there was a problem with shuttle bus and taxis generally not wishing to take you directly to accomodation due to the condition of the road  or small turning space.

Perfect holidays in November

The owners of this lovely place will welcome you ,offering a friendly and family atmosphere Villa bellevue is in the center of Crete and is in easy reach of many attractions and archaeological sites such as Knossos 20 km. Phaestos 60 km. and of course all the famous museums . Taxi transfers for guests from Heraklion airport to Villa bellevue is approx. 32 &#04535 euro . The beach of ligaria 800meters from villa bellevue is like a small paradise.

Had a wonderful stay at villa Bellevue, friendly&#045 family .atmosphere The view from the hotel is one of the best views in the whole Crete. The hotel is built in 7000square meters of lush greenery of palm , olive , lemon and hibiscus trees . The elevated garden area provides plenty of space for guests to move around in . Clean rooms, fresh clean bed linen. And something that is very important and special a large Swimming pool ..

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon  in crete and I cant wait to go back. From the moment you get there, you feel like youre at one of your relatives houses.
