Fantastic villa,nice area,pool really good and very cooling on the hotter days,the outside covered area is very soothing and cool in the evening.The couple that look after the villa are simply smashing people that put you at ease right from the off.The one criticism we do have is the owner of the villa needs to find a better way of managing the aircon ie keymeters or maybe charging more for the villa in the first place 160 euros is too much as we didn't need to use it for the first week but we could have done with it on the second week it simply doesn't cost 80 euros a week for air con. 

Luxurious Lemon Tree Villa - La Marina

We had a lovely few nights at Luxurious Lemon Tree Villa with our one year old. The villa was perfect for our family and had all the facilities we needed. We didn’t rent a car as the description said a car was only needed if you wanted to explore the area but we felt a car is essential, especially if you want to go to the beach, and we ended up getting taxis but that suited us fine. Checking in and out was very easy and Steve was extremely helpful on our arrival and ensured we had everything we needed for our baby and even had milk and tea bags there for us. Grant (the owner) has maintained excellent communication before and after our visit. Overall, we had a great holiday and would highly recommend the villa. Thank you.

Lovely clean villa. Check in and out process very easy. 
Villa was a great price (we visited mid oct). 
Villa had all the equipment we needed during our stay, everything has been carefully thought of. 
Would be great if pool heating was an option as we prefer to holiday at the end of the year and the pool was too cold for us to use during our stay which was a shame as we had great weather. 
I would strongly recommend getting wifi in the villa. We didn't bring the children on this break but if we did wifi is a pretty big deal for us to have. 
We would definitely use the villa again. Thanks for having us :)

Wonderful pool and outside space. Just needs a couple of additions to villa to make it perfect. Very modern kitchen but needs more frying pans and utensils to cook breakfast especially if 6 people there. And in this day and age Wifi is a must!  Really enjoyed our stay there though.

Lovely villa with all mod cons. Pool an asset and kept clean by Spike, who manages the villa with his wife Kay. Great couple who waited up for us when our flight was delayed and we arrived at 1am!  Within a 5 minute drive to shops, tourist information and a 10 minute drive to nearby La Marina beach.  Easy access to N332 which goes to Alicante and Murcia.

Two shower rooms which are great when there are 5 people.  Outdoor balcony has a large table and chairs which are in the shade.  We ate outside every day and also used the barbecue one evening.

Would recommend!!

This Villa is stunning and the photos don't do it justice. The pool area is gorgeous and everything is there for you to enjoy including sun loungers, parasols and a shower. 
The villa keepers Spike and Kay were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. They welcome you to the villa and explain how everything works and even get groceries for you for a small cost. Kay even bruished my Autistic daughter's hair when we were leaving as we were trying to get the cars packed.
The beach is a short drive away and so are many lovely bars and restaurants. It is possible to walk to some bars restaurants etc about 20-30 mins.

If you go to the local tourist office, they will give you information on coacj excursions to Guadelest, Benidorm and there is a firm that will take you to Benidorm and back for 10 euros and drop you off and pick you up at any of Benidorm"s theme parks if you would rather not drive..
I would say hiring a car is definitely recommended.
All in all we had a great holiday and would  definitely recommend this Villa. .

<p>Without wanting to give a bad review on the villa, as the villa itself is really lovely, but when i booked the villa it was advertised as having Sky tv and wifi, the sky tv aspect really not an issue but having teenagers and having no wifi was dissapointing. &amp;nbspThe distance to the beach was a lot further than it reads, easily accesible is not a phrase i would use, you can not walk to the beach it is just way too far,and walking along a dual carriage way not easily accesible at all. Having said all that we had a good time but definately not somewhere for families with older children unless you hire a car, there is just nothing for them to do outside of the villa. There really isnt many bars/restuarants within walking distance. Anyone with young children who are happy to stay in the villa and enjoy the pool then definately couldnt go wrong, the villa has everything you need for this type of holiday.</p>

We had a fantastic time at the Lemon Tree Villa . All communication before our arrival was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Roy welcomed us on arrival and showed us around  we were more than delighted with the Villa . The photographs do not really do the villa justice.... it is very spacious, immaculate has every convenience you can think of the pool area is hard to pull yourself away from !
Its located in a really quite street with lovely views of the surrounding villas and fields and mountains/hills at the bottom of the street . We did not  hire a car but this wasnt a problem . The nearest shops /restaurants / bars etc are only a mere 10/15 minute walk . There is also a huge supermarket on the urbanisation same distance away and if you have a car there is an Iceland store minutes away . The beach at Guardamar is a must , long promonade backed with shops and restaurants and a beautiful park with childrens playground , cafe and pools and streams with terrapins . Great area to relax and cool down after being in the sun !
We were a group of four friends just away for a long weekend and we would all love to come back to the Lemon Tree Villa   !  Thank you so much for making our stay perfect !

Our third villa holiday and by far the best villa we have stayed at. A big thanks to Grant for allowing me to adjust our party size. The villa was excellent in a quiet location with bars and restaurants nearby. I would recommend this villa to friends and family and would certainly hope to return for another relaxing holiday.

This was our first non package holiday and what a great choice. The villa was far better than the photos show. The drive from the airport was only 20 minutes and we were met at the villa and shown round and made to feel very welcome. The villa was spotless and the air conditioning was a welcome break from the midday sun. The facilities were excellent and we couldnt have asked for any more. The villa is situated in a nice quiet area but there are a few pubs and eating places within a short walking distance. Also very centrally located for some lovely towns and villages. I would recommend this villa to anyone and hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.
